What are you hoping to see in Marvel's Spider-Man 3?
I terms of what I hope will happen in SM3, I know it's silly and that many will see it as controversial but I want Cindy to get a female love interests. Look Cindy's romances in the comics SUCKS and is a source of much shame for her, Peter and the people who came up with it.
So I say why not try a romance with someone of the same gender. I'll admit that I'm being selfish here as part of the reason I want this is because I'm a lesbian and I want to see myself in a character I like in a series that I'm more then a little invested in.
Honestly? I'm hoping to see a well done and satisfying conclusion to the Insomniac Spider-Man trilogy. Beyond that, I don't have any huge expectations. (An accessibility option to remove the tutorials on repeat playthroughs would be nice, though!)
@@RainbowMan9407 Oh God YES!!! It's not to bad in Miles Morals as they don't pause the game that much but in the first game it's so annoying to see those tutorial notes pop up when I already know how the game works.
I think it's worse in God of War Ragnarok because it kept doing it 10 hours into the game and I can't find on off switch for this.
@@Winter-The-Masquerade That sounds like a really good idea! I'm personally just hoping that they don't put her, Miles, and Hailey in a love triangle, because that was the kind of feeling I got from the post credits scene.
@@RainbowMan9407 I got the impression that Miles and Cindy are more likely going to be siblings due to their parents dating. I know that step-siblings can and have dated but after all the time they put into establishing Miles and Hailey who are a very popular pairing (I much prefer them together then Miles and Gwen) only to turn around and go "Nope, Miles and Cindy are the real OTP of our universe."
Also the theme of the Spider-Men in this series have been the idea that they are family, with the two calling each other bro or brother more then once so Cin taking on the role of kid sister, especially if they retain her social disability from the comics, would fit right into that. In fact Pete and Cin have both taken on a brother/sister relationship which has gone over a LOT better then their... whatever the hell they had before.
As for Cindy's romance I personally would like a Lumity angle with someone who bullies Cindy becoming her love interest after Cindy is kind to her. Or maybe even a Catradora angle with one of her main adversaries becoming her love interest after the two have tried to kill one another, I love classics. I normally would like a standard couple is just nice to each other but Miles and Hailey have that covered and despite a few hitches Peter and MJ also scratch that itch.
I want to see someone redeemed as I am love that kinda romance (when handled right because Fuck Reylo).
I’m surprised people think Peter isn’t going to be in 3 at all lol. When Norman finds out who the spidermen are, no way he just lets Pete sit in his garage and heal the world. He’s not retired just yet
exactly what i thought! Norman knows pete well and with the "you are like a son" part it showed that he will hurt him and "attack his heart" when he becomes insane.. uhm i mean becomes the green goblin!

I believe people aren’t thinking straight. Peter WILL be the main spidey for SM3. I think the ending of Miles taking the mantle of SM2 will just be for another spinoff game like he had in SP Miles Morales.
yeah, maybe an origin game for silk? the formula of side game with a newer character makes a lot of sense and did well to flesh out miles, so i'm hoping they do it with cindy too.

Miles probably will be kind of face of marketing (or maybe they meant it that Miles is the spiderman that protect the city 24 hours a day like Peter used to be who knows), Cindy exist and Peter still exist so peter are not out yet.

My guess is that there will be 3 DLC’s. Carnage, Daredevil/Kingpin, and Chameleon.
Miles Morales 2 will have Cindy Moon and Wolverine stuff.
Then spider-man 3 is Green Goblin, Sinister Six, and Red Goblin

The other thing that the games story was teasing is the exhaustion towards super powered people. I think the third game will feature the spider slayers as police enforcers which the Goblin will highjack and the final act of the game will turn into the Goblin Nation storyline. Octavius will be responsible for the spider slayers as he’ll secretly be Smythe’s former mentor. I bet that when Octavius attempts to brain swap, it’ll be with Miles. By the end Peter will convince Octavius to give Miles his body back, successfully reforming his greatest enemy before he dies.

Honestly the octavius end credits scene gave me serious superior spiderman vibes. Cause at the end or the first game when otto was afraid the authorities would take his arms away and that he'd be trapped in this useless body, the end credits scene implies he has a plan for that. I'm worried it won't be superior spiderman tho considering the suit is unlockable in this game
Thoughts??? Could it be that they are first going to make a 2nd Miles game that introduces Silk-Spider? The 2 of them team up while Peter is on break (the same way Peter was over seas in the first Miles game). This would give sufficient time to develop the Silk character that would be difficult to do in the final game in the trilogy. Then Peter, Miles, and Silk are all in Spider-Man 3. In fact they’ll call it Spider-Man because there will be 3 of them.
I feel like they should make a spin off first about Miles and how Cindy became Silk and then they can move in to Marvel spider man 3

The idea of Peter taking a break is like having 2 main spider men doing their Jobs like sometimes it’s Peter doing spider man and other times it’s miles doing the job and sometimes even both

I did have my own ideas for Spider-Man 3 like maybe Octavius is planning to switch minds with Peter like he did with the Superior Spider-Man Storyline and this sets of Otto's Redemption Arc as in the comics he sees Peter's Memories and understands him and gains a new sense of justice.

I believe the Goblin Menace will be used in Spider-Man 3. He is an underutilized character that many people don't know much about. Since Insomniac likes to elevate virtually unknown villains and characters.

From a story perspective it makes sense for Peter to take a break, he’s trying to focus on a stable career, not a part time. At least this time Peter isn’t dead, like in the comics, Miles own timeline. Even that said I think the next game will be an interquel like Spider-man: Miles Morales

Well if they make a Venom solo game they'd be wise to introduce either Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson become his new host, because naturally most Venom fans would want a Venom solo game to star someone who actually was Venom in the comics, and I see no real reason for Harry Osborn to be Venom anymore in this universe.

My main thing with Otto is that, how would Otto know Miles identity? We know he knows Peters, but i dont think Otto has ever actually directly interacted with Miles. How would he be able to deduce his identity.
I absolutely think Miles and Cindy should be the mains of a spin off so they can simply be kinda playable with the main focus on Peter in marvels Spider-Man 3. He deserves a straight up trilogy where he’s the main character. If Peter dies or retires though I’ll be very upset.

I don't think we will get a "Miles Morales 2" but a DLC wich you could only play as Miles because Peter is having a break from being Spiderman. Miles would have to stop Carnage and the flame for once and for all and we would also get introduced to Rio's boyfriend, Albert Moon and his daughter, Cindy wich would discover that Miles is a Spiderman and she would want help him to stop Carnage even tough she doesn't have any superpowers yet, and at some point of the story (probably mid-story) for some reason Cindy would get bitten my a radioactive spider and she would get superpowers like Miles and Peter, and then Miles would have to "teach" her how to be a Spiderman (or Spiderwoman) like Peter teached him, and they both would defeat Carnage at the end of the DLC. And for Marvel's Spider-man 3 Cindy , (or Silk) would already be part of the Spider team and would help Peter and Miles stop the Green Goblin and DockOck.
This is just my speculation but i think it would be possible since including all that just in Marvel's Spider-man 3 would somewhat "rush" Cindy's character and we wouldn't be able to fully know her like Miles or Peter.

The upcoming DLC for Spider-Man 2 is Silk, Chameleon and other characters so hopefully Silk becomes a playable character in the DLC and Spider-Man 3.

I think the stupidest thing they did was not make Eddie Brock Venom. Or, at the end of Spider Man 2, show the Symbiote surviving and attaching to Eddie Brock. They should've taken that route (imo). That would've made a lot of sense......
Instead, the symbiote got vaporized? I mean, they literally made Cletus Kasidy Carnage with a red symbiote in the vial........so why not Eddie Brock as Venom? I mean, it didn't make sense to me. Other than that I like what they're doing with the game(s) and where they're taking it. But, I don't know....
Eddie Brock should've been Venom. I hope they correct this in the next game. At least show it happening. If not, it will make absolutely 0 sense if the symbiote is eradicated completely.

Look, i get being upset when your favorite version of a hero is sidelined-im a Guy Gardner GL fan, I get it. But personally, I feel that people who got mad ad the end of SP2 with Peter “retiring” don’t truly appreciate the mantle of the hero or the growth of the character/story.
