The Mavuika and Capitano scene was THE most iconic Natlan scene. IT WAS EPIC. I could NEVER get tired of the graphics and how absolutely Hyped I was when I first saw the scene.
I looked at the thumbnail and thought it was a fan animation…. AETHER HAS HIS HAIR IN A PONY? YOU MESSING WITH ME, HAHA WHAT? WHAT QUEST? IS IT THE ARCHON QUEST? HANGOUT? HAAA???
I’m not sure if this was intentional, but at 11:46 (the final fallback) after the exit seals itself up, the twins seem to be breathing quicker than the others, as if they were beginning to panic. specifically, lumine’s chest visibly puffs in and out a lot faster, while aether’s shoulders rise and fall. although aether isn’t breathing as fast as lumine is, his eyes are rapidly darting from left to right instead of lumine’s head turns. it also doesn’t help that the atmosphere and the camera panning a few seconds later is reminiscent of the 2.7 chasm interlude quest cutscene.
I love when Kinich pull out his weapon and ready to fight Mavuika is like "give it to me NOW" and Kinich look like he doesn't want to, and then she broke his weapon afterwards 🙃
I just imagine like if instead of Kinich, there'd be lil Kachina or Chasca there and it would look like “Give your weapon to me, NOW”, and Kachina would be like: “But.. am a polearm user, Archon..”
personally i think aether has more expressions than lumine im not saying that cause i’m an aether player but it’s just like they put more detail into him
