The last bit where Kylo extends his hand still gives me chills. What a great trailer.

Finally, a review that is very interactive, intelligent and open-minded. I love how you guys are very open to various scenarios that might happen and even if you did a comparison of TFA and TLJ against the original trilogy, you still did it very respectfully and very rational. True fans, no doubt. Some reactors mostly just bash TFA and TLJ while comparing it to the original series and how the originals are so much better. I love the old movies, but the characters in these new movies have so much depth and have so much story to tell. I am very invested in Rey and Kylo Ren's journey. Thank you for this, guys. More power to your channel.

I told everybody day 1 that Rey was going to turn to to the Darkside and FINN would be the true hero but nobody listened. Not only that but i think Finn is force sensitive and will be a Jedi. Mark my words and you heard it first from me, just like i said 3 years ago.
It will probably go down like that Rey and Kylo team up on Luke and luke says it wont go as you think, then he trains Finn and both him and Finn take on Snoke, Rey and Kylo Ren that's the big twist. cause Finn dressed in black like Luke and captured looks like Return of the Jedi
Yep, remember the very first Star Wars trailer of the Force Awakens when you hear a voice say "There's been a disturbance can you feel it?" And guess who's head pops up first as a Storm Trooper(Which was a cover & and a hint at the same time) but when i told people this they were like "No, they would never let a black man be the main hero of Star Wars" And i was like "ok ok you'll see, JJ Abrams is playing all you idiots like a fiddle" and then they all laughed at me.

Feels like Luke refuses to train Rey while Snoke seems to favor training Rey over Kylo.
And Luke and Snoke will have the same reason: She's too damn powerful. Luke doesn't want to fulfill that potential as she could use it for evil and Snoke want because he hopes that she'll use it for evil. Good stuff.
This trailer is misdirection and its all the better for it.
Maylen Driussi there's no such thing as grey Jedi. How many times does Pablo Hidalgo have to tell people grey Jedis can't ever exist. It's an oxymoron.
The Ampharos Freak Now that I think about it, I get what he means. It's like if you were to say you're a "grey vegetarian". You're either a vegetarian or not. By definition, a "Jedi" is a member of the knightly order, serving to guard and keep the peace and justice within the universe. Sith obviously used the dark side for their own nefarious gains. But if you're neither and you disregarded either side's beliefs then I guess you're basically just a force user. Admittedly, "grey Jedi" does sound cool though but yeah it's an oxymoron. Although, if I recall correctly, Qui-Gon Jinn sometimes disagreed with the Council's decisions so would that have technically made him a grey Jedi? After all, he serves the Order but doesn't entirely agree with its beliefs.

You can't have a group dedicated to the unnatural 'light side only' dogma without creating enemies along the way.
Sith and Jedi both represent extreme polarization; Rey and Kylo are moving toward a balanced center.

Greg Gallacci The light side is the natural and 'good' part of the force. The Jedi treat the force with respect. Is their existence the catalyst for some twisting the force to the Dark Side or will their always be force sensitive 'bad guys'? If it's the latter then only some form of Jedi (possibly Grey as the best balance) would be able to stop them.
Thats not a thing. There is no balance with dark side existing. Its corruption in the force. That comes from lucas. I aint the biggest sw nerd and even i know that. Disney could change that tho, but i personally dont like the direction they have gone with the series.

I think Kylo Ren could very well become a fan favourite amongst Star Wars fans by the time this current trilogy is done. The character is truly an intriguing one with a lot of potential and many implications within the Star Wars story. You have no idea what he is going to do or what he is capable of at this point.

But yeah, I love the idea of the possible end of the absolutes for both Jedi and Sith. It could also mean that Luke has seen it and knew he was part of the old ways, which is why he sequestered himself. And Snoke trying to regain old glory by using the conflicted Ben as a pawn, but ultimately him being nothing more than a relic of bygone times.
Fun theory: What if Snoke was nothing more than a Sith conscious inside a holocron?

I mean, a lot of people say that they shouldn't believe everything they see in the trailer, and the way it's cut also suggests that.
I see many theories floating about Snoke, I mean, people think he could be Anakin's father, that Snoke is the first Jedi to turn to the Dark Side etc. Mine isn't that far out there either.
But we'll see, movie comes out soon! Can't wait. ^_^
I think Luke was talking about Kylo, his great failure. So when he says he wasn't afraid, he's talking about the raw potential he felt in Kylo and he still trained him and then the destruction of everything Luke held dear. He's afraid to take that chance again with Rey.

Not even kidding,having recently seen The rise of skywalker this might be the best Star Wars movie for me,i love The force awakens and this movie and The rise of skywalker is a disappointing finale to this trilogy
The fans ruined Star Wars if it wasn’t for the fan bitching about the changes in The Last Jedi then we could’ve had a better ending for The Rise of Skywalker.
@@Javier-mp2vg Correction. Had Lucasfilm not been so reactionary and instead kept to a properly formed plan for the trilogy, we wouldn't have ended up with TROS.

The red font, the "something very special" cut to Rey from Snoke, Kylo seeming hesitation pulling the trigger on Leia, him offering guidance to Rey; Only makes me think that we are gonna get the ol' switcheroo. Rey's gonna break bad, while Kylo finds the light.
Oliver Crespo kylo didmt offer guidance to Rey, they are two diffetent scenes edited to look like one, im sure Rey is asking for guidance from luke in the cave, just look at the lighting on theit faces
The voice that says the jedi order must end is not Mark Hamill's voice but Benicio Del Toros and Snoke is Ezra Bridger from rebels

A tiny theory. What if Ben/Kylo destroyed the Jedi Temple by accident. Its not easy to control a earth shattering amount of force. As we see Rey does it unknowingly during her light saber training an a secluded island. What if Ben's/Kylo's true power manifested in the same manner in the Jedi temple causing structural damage that caused the whole building to crumble. Ben was devastated thought the order will cut all ties with him even if it was only an accident. And that's when the Sith Lord approached him.
It was so amazing to watch and listen to you guys react because I remember the first time I saw this trailer and watching you experience it vividly reminded me of how I felt. I even remember saying "don't you dare!", but with an expletive. Looking back on the trailer after seeing the film, I appreciate the way it's cut even more. It's potentially one of my favorite trailers of all time.

Several tiny moments flashing images to a time were the game 'Star Wars The Old Republic' takes place, want to see more people in these videos talk about how it ties in. The balance, the image on the cover of that book.. the amount of power she displays mirroring the power displayed from Vaylin as a child in the cinematic.

I think there is a lot of misdirection in this trailer. Snoke talking about finding a powerful person, I think he is talking to Rey.
I think the same... also in the End... I don't think Rey is speaking to Kylo... and I don't think Luke is talking about Kylo, too ^^ I'm really curious what will happen!
This trailer is full of misdirection. I feel like there trying to give us a false sense of theory and predictions, so that when we go see it were completely blown away. CANT WAIT FOR THIS FILM

Your logic is all ass-backwards, man. They WANTED you to believe Snoke was talking to Rey. After Snoke's whole speech at the beginning of the trailer, it cuts to Rey turning on her lightsaber, as if he was talking about her the whole time even though we don't know the context of his dialogue and she's obviously on Luke's island in that scene.
I think Luke is gonna try and train her, see that she has too much power and darkness in her.
While Snoke has only been doing things with Kylo and his training to snuff out the light in him and tell him go to the darkside but he can't make the switch. So they will end up trying to help eachother find where they belong and switch sides.

Prediction: Finn is going to go back to the First Order and rally all of the other disgruntled Stormtroopers and get them all to defect to the Resistance. There must be a *ton* of unhappy Stormtroopers, enough that the First Order had to create a whole procedure and facilities just for "Reconditioning" them.
Finn leading a storm trooper mutiny would be a great way to use the character in the next film.

Edit: Anakin-vibes with the way Kylo flies his fighter, plus the top-down march with storm troopers following him reminded of that scene at the Jedi Temple? Interesting parallels? I'm sure there's more.
It's not "Ignore the prequels that say all the stormtroopers are clones" it's "Ignore the fans that didn't pay attention to the fact that they STOPPED GETTING NEW CLONES when there were no more Jedi to go get them."

Ku Chan I thought it was white also, but only one person has been able to make a white crystal in the new canon.

It's white because of the lighting. The blue hue isn't noticeable in blue backgrounds.

What if...and hear me out. What if the one other person Luke has seen before was his father? Aniken was the strongest force user and luke was willing to go head to head with him. Daddy darth did kind of hold back, but it would lead to a theory that Rey is the reincarnation of the force much like Aniken(the whole no father born to a none force user)

Great show as always guys! I'm excited to see if my original predictions that the story is ending both the concept of Jedi and Sith as well as the idea of light side and dark side. In fact, I suspect Rei may become Kylo's student by the end of this. Can't wait until December!

Idk why I’ve been looking up trailer reactions, I love them.
Was able to buy my ticket for this last night before the trailer premiered. Also bought the poster that was unveiled last night.
Some thought on Fin's role in this movie, just off the top of my head. In the first trailer we saw him still unconscious in some sort of transport, and that scene immediately cut to the battle on Krait. In this trailer, there's a scene of the battle of Krait which then immediately cuts to Fin wearing what looks like a First Order uniform and being escorted down a hall by some guards. I think Fin is going to be the real hero in this movie. I think he gets captured during the battle on Krait and taken back to the First Order, where he brings down a major millitary installation from the inside, and that scene with him taking on Phasma happens as he's making his escape.
But of course I could be completely wrong about all of that, and I've never been particularly good a making movie predictions so.... Eh.

I'm a big ol' book nerd myself, I'm so proud of you!
Things I noticed... 1. Kylo Ren and Rey are separate scenes. Kylo Ren is missing his scar and the fire in the background matches Luke crawling out of the fire. It was probably a flashback of Kylo Ren turning dark side. 2. Rey's torture scene shows her wearing her old scavenger garb. The scene of Kylo Ren and Leia are probably separate scenes to show misdirection. My theory is that Snoke wants to take over a body. I think he created Rey and wanted to turn her dark side to prepare her but Luke hid her so he moved to Kylo Ren.
I know what people think, but I really love Last Jedi. Great trailer. I love the different direction. After watching Rise of skywalker I wish they would of kept going. They pulled back a bit. I know what all the critics say but Rian Johnson went for it! JJ just played it safe.
The Stormtroopers aren't clones in the Original Trilogy, Rebels and the books delve into this a lot, the clones were phased out after the formation of the empire.

When Luke says he didn't see this much raw power before, he's more likely referring to the destruction of the jedi temple which we see on the next scene, not Ben. Even if he was referring to Ben, when he says he wasn't afraid then does'nt make any sense since he shouldn't be afraid of Ben's power
They talk about The Old Republic, but when Hector drop real knowledge like Darth Bane, they have no clue :D
To be fair, Emma mentioned Knights of the Old Republic, and Darth Bane has nothing to do with that as he came along two thousand years later.
Just going to throw this out there, the Clone Wars are mentioned by Luke in the original movie. So... we can't completely throw out the fact that there were clone troopers in the Empire, and it was mentioned in books that clones started to be phased out of the Empire's Stormtrooper ranks because of their advanced aging (20 years for every 10).

I already watched the trailer before i saw this reaction. When the guy in the far left said he really wants to see Finn do some cool stuff, I had a huge grin on my face. Cant wait to see some finn and phasma action!

I think that Snoke may have been talking about Vader or Palpatine at the beginning. We know Snoke is pretty old having known the Emperor and Vader and that when he found them or joined them he felt their power. He could be talking to the ghost or remnants of Vader.
I've watched the trailers 5 million times and I watch the movie but the trailer still gives me chills. and the answer to the question you got to talking about kylo Ren is a order sith he is a sith who wants to rule by himself.
Just a thought. I have an idea that the destruction of Luke's Jedi school was at least partially filmed for The Force Awakens, but was only referenced so that he wouldn't be seen until the end of the film. We saw him and R2 in the first Force trailer and we now have an image that Phasma was part of the group that destroyed the school. Taking out that sequence would also diminish Phasma's presence in TFA.
I think it will be the darkest Star Wars film we’ve ever seen, maybe darker than Revenge of the Sith and Empire!
it will be way darker than Revenge of The Sith and Empire. I remember seeing Revenge in 2005 and it was very dark because you see how Anakin became Vader and Empire when he reveals himself to Luke. This may be the Darkest Star Wars Yet to Date.
Only if Rey turns to the Dark Side.

Alex Silva Rogue One wasn’t that dark. Revenge of the Sith is by far the darkest film, right next to Empire. My guess is that The Last Jedi will surpass both of them
I doubt it. ROTS had _children_ being slaughtered. Until we get anything to that effect in Star Wars again (which i dare say, we won't), nothing will compare to it.

"Lord of the Rings vibe." FYI, Andy Serkis did a lot of voice work for LotR in addition to Gollum, notably the Orcs at the beginning of Two Towers. His Snoke voice sounds exactly like one of those Orcs. That might be where you're getting the vibes from.

What if Luke's comment about seeing that kind of power once before not scaring him referred to Ben Solo.. And the "it does now" refers to Rey... AND what if his "this isnt going to go the way you think" comment is towards Rey. AAAND, what if AFTER that, Luke tries to fight Rey to stop the power she holds.... thus her turning to Kylo for guidance since she gets non from traumatized Luke......
So many theories
I have a theory. When Luke is talking about how he fears the power he is feeling, compared to the same power he felt before, what if he is talking to Yoda or Anakin, referring to Rey? My theory is he was talking initially about Palpatine, and Rey ends up being his granddaughter.
