Happy New Year!!!! I put my Christmas decor in 5 colored bins but not matching...mark "Christmas" on them. Love the clear bin idea. I do leave some red out after Christmas because of Valentine's Day! Beautiful home and loved seeing Kylee help out, she's got that decorating eye like her mama!
I am in SE Florida. I keep my winter up as long as I can. We don’t get seasons. I don’t really decorate for Spring. I do have some Summer beachy pool stuff.
I decorate for winter! actually...i take down stuff specific to Christmas, and leave up the other things. IE: i will take down santa and elves and reindeer, but i have frosty and other snow men, and i wintry scene with just a regular deer that I leave up. I remove most things Christmas colored, and leave most of the white colors and greys/blacks if any. and then pull out a few things that are just winter themed. but none of it takes too long. Then, usually later in Jan, i will add a few items Valentine themed and take it down after Valentines day. My winter decor stays up until spring. period . ( i love winter and snow lol) then I add in Easter approprately. then at spring, i decorate for it. then move into summer. All the while looking forward to fall!
I’m going to try this year to decorate for winter- using greenery & pinecones- definitely bottle brushes & wooden pieces- I’ve even taken all the red off my 36” wreath over the fireplace & leaving it up for a change 😉 lots of fairy lights & candles too!
I'm decorating for Valentine's Day tomorrow 😂 I got pink twinkle lights for my staircase and pink Valentine Trees for the steps from DT. I also have a candle on a timer on each step. I'll hang a huge heart too 💖 I tie my Christmas red pillows in with Valentine's Day
Your daughter looked like she was really excited about taking down Christmas and setting up winter touches. I always decorate for winter. But spring can't get here quick enough this year. I'm missing the warm days. Happy New Year to you and your family. How's the new house coming along 🤗💓💞💕
Yes! Thank you! She was so excited for me to let her do the decorating! :) lol I will have house updates and decorating coming over the next few weeks and months too!
I will take ours down soon, we've just been enjoying the cozy white lights while it still gets dark so early so probably in the next week or 2 we will start thinking about some Valentines decor and the tree will officially be packed away :)
I would like to know where you purchase your led candles? They look like the flame blows in the wind and still flickers?? Please let me know. Love your projects ❤

Decorated my kitchen with snowmen and snowflakes in shades of blues. Love to change my kitchen decro throughout the year. 😊

I pack mine in clear bins. I leave the decor up that doesn’t look too Christmasy.
I like the clear bins so I can readily see what's inside. It works for me.
I only take thing down that scream Christmas.

I store all of my stuff in clear totes and some I do label

I have red and green lid bins. But they are 30 + years old. Not sure they had clear then. Butclear is nice
