hahahahahahahahahahahahah this shit is crazy. she sure likes satin on her shoulders, how lucky can you get!? Oh, and "That's what she said" @ 1:52-1:57 and @ 2:38-2:41
That's kind of the way most variety shows were as you didn't always have the perfect voice for every song. They all ran the same formula, of guest stars, comedy skits, song and dance and solo numbers. Some were better than others, but they were essentially an evolution of Vaudeville, and they performed like the Toyota Camry of entertainment. However, given that this show was pretty much a disaster with the exception of Florence Henderson, this number was actually a rare gem for the 8 episodes that it ran. In my opinion, only variety show that was truly innovative and broke from the old, tired formula and was really worth watching was The Carol Burnett Show.
Very well done; suits her style and voice.
This was probably the best number of the whole series
She's enjoying this. Loved performing. Rip
This is weirdly amazing.....
Perfect comment lol

You can suckle the globe??
siamesemeg I think the lyric is you can CIRCLE the globe...she doesn't pronounce it very well.
oh gawd, she even makes Toni Tennille seem bearable.
Too much of a copy of Streisands Funny Lady arrangement for my taste.

Does not have the voice for this song😢
Streisand would have been better, but she didn't do shows like this.
