- Recently I upgraded my Ender3 to a Bambu P1S 3D printer, and needed to put it to use. We regularly cruise to the beach/surfing and need somewhere to put our beverages on the drive back. Lily is our 1973 Volkswagen T2 Micro Bus. We are slowly restoring and upgrading her. I designed this model in CAD based loosely off of a 3D printable ash tray insert I found on Thingiverse. The dimensions on that design did not fit great in my dash board/ash tray slot, so I had to do a number of iterations to get a design that finally worked.
I plan to eventually make this design public, but it still needs some tweaks to it.

Pretty neat! Years ago I bought a cup holder for my bus that’s just a block of wood that slots into the ashtray, with a couple of vinyl-wrapped cup holders attached. They are fine for most drinks, but I like the notch you have for handled cups.
Nice. They still sell those cup holders but I wasn’t about to pay $65 for one.

I plan to either sell it for super low cost to try and prevent others from reselling it or just making it free.
