Good day, thank you for this information. I want to ask a question. You were mentioning charging by the government, what do you mean? If I'm buying land from a real estate company and I want to build, is it when I want to get a building approval from the lagos state government that I'll be charged? I just want to know why and what I'm being charged for. Thank you.
I have done this video since over 2yrs ago, apologies, I really can't remember some of the contents of the videos again. Nevertheless, government charges include for title registration and also for building approvals
Title has to be conveyed regardless of whether you buy in an estate or outside an estate, title must be conveyed either it's residential, commercial or farming estate. On allocation, a deed and survey has to be given
@@meetthepropertyguy3156 Please for clarity's sake, are you are saying the deed and survey serves as a title OR The title, for example - Global C of O or Gazette, is transfered to the buyer? Why I'm asking is because I saw land advertised in an estate for sale and the title was given as Deed of Conveyance and Survey Plan. I felt it was wrong because, according to your channel, a deed or survey is not a title.
Thanks for your comment, a deed is a title, as it conveys and transfers right on a property from one person to another. . Gazette or global c of o cannot be transferred to you, if you buy in an estate or in a community under a gazette or C of O, a deed is still the instrument of title transfer to you, the Gazette or global C of O is not in your name anyway
At some point it will be 450sqm or 300sqm size, land is a scarce commodity, and each day we are having less vacant land, it's not in surplus, developers will continue reducing those sizes
There is no direct equivalent, it all depends on the shape of the land and the surveyor that map it out, so it can come in different dimensions. 55ft x 100ft, 50ft x 110ft, 45ft x 120ft and so on
So much value in one video. Thanks 🙏
You're welcome sir
