What’s the movie Mamma Mia about?
Donna (Meryl Streep from The Iron Lady and The Hours), an independent single mother is about to marry her only daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried from Dear John) whom she raised on a Greek island all by herself. For this wedding, Donna has invited her two best friends and former backup singers from her youth group Donna and the Dynamos. But Sophie secretly invited three more people to the wedding. Three very different men, one of whom she thinks is her father. From three different parts of the world, three men are preparing to return to the island - and to the woman who had enchanted them 20 years before...
