Actually, Finland was the first country in the whole world to give full political rights to women. New Zealand was the first country to give women right to vote, but they could not stand for candidacy. Finland was the first country to give women also the right to stand for Parliament membership. So the first ever female MPs were the 13 Finnish women elected to Parliament in 1908 election.
Coffee is life and I have 2 saunas. Wood burning in my summer house and electric in my apartment. I use sauna 2 to 3 times a week and sometimes drinking cold brewed coffee in sauna 😛
Kate , thank you again. About Coffee..All northen countries are at TOP 6 at the list WHO DRINKS ALOT OF COFFEE. Finland , Norway , Island , Denmark , what...Netherland and 6th Sweden. All these fine countries have drinks of their own but probably for daily and social use coffee is the one to have. With little milk & 2 sugars / cup.
Thank you for sharing 😊 that is very interesting I love Finnish coffee and buy in bulk to take home every time I’m in Finland, I usually have about 8 kg on me of different types of coffee 😂
Thank you for this great video! Just one important thing you forgot to mention about our forests: the national duty of "raking" the forest floor! Like one great Leader of the greatest country in the world said!
@@ATWKate Thank you! A little joke. Have you seen these "America first Finland second" videos? They are hilarious! I bet Swiss have one of their own too. Once while visiting Zuerich we ate/shared a cheese fondue in a very famous restaurant - business trip- and our host placed the order but he did not tell us that the fondue was full of "Kirsch Wasser"! I have never been so full and drunk at the same time. That was "funny"!
Parthenon in Athens Greece (the buildings in the video) is a birth place of democracy, I was talking about Finnish democracy in the video, that is why Parthenon was used
I think that you miss something. There in westcoast (Turku) is the largest area of isles in the world about 100 000) but you never heard that? I am so sorry for you.. Ahvenanmaa?
Nowhere Acropolis was used to represent the democracy that I was talking about in the video and Athens Greece 🇬🇷 where Acropolis naturally is, is the birthplace of the democracy. That is the connection thank you for asking 😎

"people who are not easily manipulated and make proper decisions when voting", you clearly haven't met members and voters of the Coalition Party and the Basic Finns Party.
Thank you for the comment, all I meant was, that on average educated population is far less susceptible to manipulation than the less educated one, and that is the fact. All of us are susceptible to it of course, only the degrees of it vary.
@@ATWKate Multi-party democracy is more resistant to corruption than some other system. Väinö Tanner is patriarch of the Finns Party, because SDP adopted globalism. Well, now they were forced to take a step back.
wow how interesting video !!! I really like it :)
Thank you so much 😊 happy you liked it

Sounds about right 😉 thank you so much for sharing! Enjoy the holiday season!
Liked your video and the informative, yet appealing sound of your balanced voice. One small correction, Saimaa’s area should be given in km2 not m2 👍😃
Got it ☺️ thank you and sorry about that will be more careful next time. Happy you liked it overall 😉
What's with the short clips from Parthenon? (Greece)

What have these creek buildings to do with Finland???

Your point?
Great video of course! Maby you should slow down a little when speaking.
Happy you liked it 😎 I will keep that in mind thank you
Wow, almost 19 minutes of uninhibited praising of Finland, totally out of bounds. A Finn could never make a video like this.
Yes 19 minutes of praise! I believe Finland deserves it!
Maybe next time I will do 30 minutes 😎
Where exactly in Finland is that place that looks like Acropolis of Athens Greece?

Not everyone can see the connection so next time, maybe, I will be more clear about it
Whow! You should SELL your voice! It is peace and coolness.
Thank you 😊 happy it sounded nice to you. I would be glad to sell it if anyone is interested 😂
