I love how Jack takes acoustic instruments like piano, trumpets, saxophones, guitars, percussion and electronic sounds made by electric guitars and synthesizers to create catchy upbeat instrumentals. Acoustic elements give a beautiful sound to electronic music. He brings you back to the 70s, 80s and 90s with a modern touch in these current days where a lot of artists are getting experimental discovering new sounds 😊

I don't know what it is about the sound of Jack's music but it always has a certain nostalgic feeling to it. When the piano kicks in around 0:31 it's just immediately a pleasant feeling. I don't know how else to explain it.

Car Sear Headrest's Twin Fantasy released in 2018 is pretty accessible, has callbacks from & outside the album, and is extremely emotionally charged. Their song "Bodys" reminded me of Jack and Bleachers :)
