We found out my girlfriend was pregnant last year. I found this song the same week, it was February and I remember just driving down dark, snowy streets in our town, excited, scared, humbled . When Bruce entered the song I lost it and started screaming the chorus , tears in my eyes, on top of my lungs

The more I listen, the better it gets. Especially love how the song subtly passes the vocal baton from Jack to Bruce. The slow transfer of vocals from Jack to Bruce is an ingenious form of respect because it shows that Anatoff's voice is really only there at the beginning due to Springsteen's underlining influence on him. Jack's music is also Bruce's music

i have never once stepped my foot in nyc. in fact, ive never visited america in my life. this song, however, makes me feel nostalgic about very specific things about the city i never experienced. jack antonoff is truly one of the greatest producers of our generation, he doesnt create vibes, he creates full astmospheres that borders true feelings. we dont deserve him.

Jack's music seems so timeless. I remember playing "Gone Now" in the kitchen while I was baking cookies and my brother liked it, then my mom and her bf entered the kitchen and stayed to listen because the music sounded so familiar yet interesting and different. I'd say every song has this specific feeling to it and I can tell something was written by Jack just from the sound of it.

Recently my 29 yr old son insisted I listen to this song while driving us back to central Arkansas from Corpus Christi, TX. I had him as a teenager & he grew up listening to my favorite 90's hip hop, grunge, & indie music. My gosh I love that he has my excellent taste in music!! THIS is my new favorite song, on repeat!!
