I grew up helping my neighbor on his cars, followed him from drag racing to dirt track and I fell in love with the dirt track years! I still miss drilling rivets and pounding sheetmetal back flat and riveting it back on after a tuff night of door to door racing! A few times we didn’t think we were gonna make it to the track for the Saturday night race because we were destroyed from Friday night but we managed to squeak in and get the car off the trailer and lined up in time for hot laps, a few times as our class was rolling out on the track 😂😂

My uncle is jeb allen (praying mantis)(english leather), ill never forget he had a 426 hemi on a stand at the front of his car hauler...he showed me how many times theblock had been welded...so i asked him ..
"Why keep an engine that had blown up and repaired so many times"?
He said it was the fastest of all 3 engines

Use to run Vega converter 11in bolted right up, 10 in had to drill the flywheel
