it doesn't matter if europe or america plays cricket or not... cricket is now culture and heritage of south asia and we'll play our sport!
and south asia is bigger than europe, north america and south america combined!
America land area= 9.8 million sq. Km
Europe land area= 10 million sq. km approx
Total= around 19 million sq km
South Asia land area= 5.2 million sq km

I think the development or popularity of any sport is not possible in any country unless there is interest from the local people from there.
If the ICC really want to grow Cricket, they need to cut through the bureaucracy within its organization and stop being such a Boys-Club.

Cricket can never take over football as the most popular sport in the world. Football is just too simple to understand and rules are basic, not to mention football doesn't need much to play, cricket needs more gear. Even ICC knows football is unbeatable in popularity. However, Being the second biggest sport, being played in more countries is not a small feat and if ICC can spread it more and increase the fanbase, that's profit for them. So, Being second in a whole plethora of sports ain't a bad thing.

Even for usa and Canada nearly half of their teams have indian origin players or Cricketers from another country. The video is about Europe. Cricket will never even come close to football in Europe. You know why ?? Because they worship the game not the player. They worship the teams not the individuals .Same in Latin America .In India people worship cricketers like they are gods which doesn't allow other sports to come into limelight.
