Actually, you have to shift your momentum in the direction you intend to jump off of the wall. And it has to be done right before you hit the wall. You do not need to slide, just snap in the direction right before you hit the wall.Theres also another movement tech you can do if you push the crouch button as soon as you hit the wall that will make you launch downward quickly that gives you extra slide distance.
essentially, after testing movement and trying to find new mechanics, I realised there exist "invisible momentum". Apparently, your physical momentum slows as you keep holding the slide, obvious right? But, the initial speed boost from sliding is carried out through the duration of the slide invisibly. Meaning, that even if your running unit is 1, as long as you hit that wall bounce, you'll carry out the initial momentum of a speed slide. I have many more things i've discovered, movement, has limitless potential.
you don’t have to slide at all, literally just walk up to a wall, and wall bounce…the way gruic showed me how to walk bounce by wall climbing first works the best
maturing is realising that stormens movement isnt actually that impossible and is easily replicated, but only realest will learn that its not the movement thats shocking its that he does it ina game and against real players with real situations. stormen best
If you do superglides with your crouch set to space bar and a secondary jump set to V (X,C,B,N work as well) you can press that input and wallbounce like this no need to time a small slide only hard part is making sure you’re at the right distance
Any advice for wall jumping while walking? Like when you are in a close quarter 1v1 but don't have enough Time or space to slide jump. In these scenarios I feel like they are really inconsistent and I try jump off the wall but either get stuck or just headbutt the wall
You could do what is called a "fatigue" wall bounce. There are two steps to doing this, the first being you need to get jump fatigue. Jump fatigue is what happens after you jump once and your jumps start to get lower in height (kind of like b-hopping). So basically, you need to be in jump fatigue and then go immediately for a wall bounce, but instead of jumping off the wall you will do a quick wall run and then jump to avoid that "stuck" feeling. Something that helped me stop getting stuck when wall bouncing is putting my gun away when going towards the wall, that way, I have more momentum. As far as I can see, it would be pointless to hold your gun out when going towards the wall and you won't be able to shoot immediately anyway. You can then take your gun back out once you're in the air. Hope this helped :)

Yes you have to have jump fatigue in order to wall bounce without momentum and instead of jumping off the wall you do a wallrun instead. Let me know if you would like a more detailed explanation
@@notreallythin I figured it out after some attempts. Basically you just stand still, and start moving towards the wall, then calculate more or less if the highest point of the jump you just did will make you collide with the wall. When you feel like you made the connection with the wall, just press a direction key (A or D depending on your angle) and jump for the wall bounce. So this is more of a wall bounce without the slide. But you can also do it without momentum. Edit: if you do the thing I described above, try to do 1 jump before doing it, so you can get more height on your opponent.
