Another good review! There's a reason that hair dryers have a warning not to use in the shower - it's not for the people with common sense. You have my very interested in putting my old GMX on the shelf and getting a FIVICS riser.
Honest marketing “are you going to shoot better than a $500 riser? Probably not; but, you’re going to look better doing it”. Seriously, I admire the blunt honesty and the savvy marketing skill 😂❤️👍🏼
There's something to be said for a bow that makes you feel good to shoot it, even if it's not great value for the difference it makes. Most of the Fivics products you've showcased on your channel have looked really compelling. I'm not shooting recurve just yet, but I eventually will and Fivics will be one of the companies I'm going to wanna try out.
All risers - within their design limits - are capable of hitting yellow in the hands of any archers, no matter where the price point is. Yet each feel different and some archers would not like the feel of one riser and instead like the feel of the other. I always believe that when the archer feels good with the riser, he/she will shoot good with it. When the bow feels horrible, not even 10 consecutive Xs at 70m will save the riser from the terrible review.
I love the parallel lines on the riser for the arrow rest alignment. Such a simple thing yet would make the world of difference especially if you're replacing a rest in a hurry. Otherwise this looks very similar to my Chaser Python with the machining and anodising quality. Python is 7075 Alu though. The grip and especially the angle look quite similar and I love the grip on my Python. I've got some WNS Motive C5 limbs and there's no vibration on it either. This Argon X is available in 27" which as a tall guy with a 31" draw is quite attractive, couple that with some extra long Uuhka limbs for a 74" bow would be great.
The ladiee senior barebow archer who won the elimination round at 2023 Arizona Cup was shooting this riser and limbs. Great riser. I shoot it and like it way better than all the barebow specific risers i have shot. Can't say enough good things about it
I personally love the matte finish on the newer Fivics risers (Vellator, Titan, Argon) - it's brilliant for when you're shooting with the sun behind you, there's no reflections or glare. Also, wondering if the wood grip on the Argon fits on the Vellator...
Awesome looking riser!!! Do they make this riser in a left hand version? I'd really like to try that bow out!! Great review Steven as always!!! Keep em coming brother 🏹🏹🏹
Looks great but way too expensive for me. However good to hear that I’m not losing too many points with my cast riser. One question, what is the mass weight (stabilizers, riser etc) of your regular recurve set up? Interested in other archers Olympic recurves as well. Mine is 3.3 pounds.
Maybe you need to have a set sheet of these issues/general knowledge that you pass out attached to the receipt at point of sale... Then you know everyone has been told in every case? Sorry to problem shoot, I'm a developer and can't help it :p
Buy the bow, get back into shooting recurve and post more recurve related videos. I enjoy seeing the compound stuff but not being a compound shooter they are not really super relevant to me. So from a purely selfish point of view I say buy yourself that bow!
I've been shooting this riser since July or so and it is so satisfying to shoot, I think I will never change it

That combination of riser and limbs makes such a very sweet sound at release. Love it.

That matte black looks phenomenal! Man, you make me want to shoot that recurve with all your talk about it feeling great hahaha
NEVER.... I've got an "special" order supra focus XL on order. I plan on shooting that till my fingers fall off. Lol 🏹🤠👍
Just do it 🔥🌈🏹🎯💪😎

Argon x VS atf x?
Some thoughts about

Is this 25" or 27" version? Will you do comparison test between both riser length?
You should do a review on the bowtech 2021 carbon zion
Sad thing is that people like that will still give you 1 star even when refunded/replaced out of pocket and their own fault.

anyone that dumb will still blame anything but themselves. do car dealers need to tell their customers not to crash too?
I shoot a black Fivics Vellator and I love it! I get comments about it all the time.
Might have to sell the hoyt riser, and go back fivics riser 😍
Lol maybe time to send your customers to a beginner archery course. Or at least they should be able to read the user guide but i guess its hard...
Great looking bow is this from your Connex shipment.
hi there do you have a Gillo gt left hand formula 27 inc riser for sale???
I want an honest opinion: get the oneida phoenix or pse xpedite for a hunting bow? I'm looking for an all around good and fun-shooting bow.
Powder coating?
What stabilisers are you using there?
I may be mistaken, but they look like Topoint Top-X stabs
I thinking of buy a Fivic titan or Fivic argon X ?.Is it any difference if you compare this two?
That is good looking bow in black. I shoot compound bows. But that bow is smooth.
A can of spray paint is a lot cheaper than a new riser. Like you are always saying, a new bow won't make a person shoot any better.
One of my dream riser..
its bead blasted then anodized much cheaper than polishing before anodizing
Sir please review Riser (epic fusion, krossen xenia 2) & limbs (epic fusion ex carbon, soul flash carbon)
I love my black Vellator 👍

Try one,...you'll never go back.
