I love the way you did the desk, but am wondering if a color like you used would sell. I love how you don't paint with any constraints for what is popular or in style. You release yourself from that and just paint what is in your soul and (based on your Etsy page) you are connecting with the unspoken masses who don't want everything in colorless shades of grey and white and I adore it!!! There are so many other colors, shades and styles in the world and you embrace them all! Your work is nothing less than inspirational.
I usually like your redone pieces but not this one. It was in very good in its natural state and should not have been painted. The resulting look was garish.

I used it to stick the stencil and then after it dried, I sprayed over the stencil so I can apply the gold leaf.
