So far, there is the cult of Diabolos whose history and goals are still unknown. There is also the possessed, who end up in the state as Alpha was when Shadow found her in ep.2.
There is a plot. Its not putting all out all-together in one episode. Show is highly rated and has been extrrnely popular. Hard to that without plot.
1. Goddess Trails is where fighters get matched to ancient warriors of past (their memories). This match is approriate to their strength and skill level.
2. Goddess Trail summons Aurora, Witch of Calamity for Cid. Aurora is said to be the strongest witch and is capable of destroying the world.
3. Essentially, Trail judges Cid and Aurora to be at keast on the similar levels. Thats why she was summmoned.
4. The priest guy is pressing something with his foot. That is activation button for Goddess Trail. But he didnt press it when Shadow came. Meaning Goddess Trial reacted on its own to Shadow.
Hopefully all of this enough for next episode, where more plot will be revealed.
