A lot of the time his Isaac videos are between 30 and 60 minutes long, depending on the length of his runs. He also records his Spelunky in groups, and this length is what has become the standard for dividing those up so he has one per day. I have a feeling he's not going to record 2-3 times as much Spelunky; if he does record longer episodes, his performance will decrease in turn. I honestly prefer the shorter episodes.

You know sarcasm rarely works over the internet but you did it you made it work and your right I didn't make a script that would be a huge waste of time.
This is totally legit. I'm not trying to start a war because I think they're silly. I personally just don't like his style, and like you said, there are probably loads of people that don't like mine. It's never possible to please absolutely everyone. I do, however, think it's really juvenile of people to compare me to him. Right now, this is an after-work hobby for me, so it's difficult to compete with the amount of time he can dedicate.

Saying that Ryan is intelligent and clever after watching him throw a bomb on himself is insulting to intelligent and clever people, but he isn't a screaming retread and that's why we love him. :)

I've heard from channelers that sometimes youtube doesn't process all the resolutions all the way through for some reason, that's probably it

He's teaches English to South Korean kids so he probably doesn't have that much time (or too too much time as he'd say himself). Although it is the summer now so ya never know but personally I think the episodes we get are perfect, I don't have the time to watch hour long episodes every day and I'd hate to be missing out :)

Those are all valid points, yeah! And a longer episode would potentially discourage the dwindling attention span of the internet community. I would honestly be okay with Northernlion missing a couple of days and having less lead time on his videos, if he felt comfortable with that. And, for the affection of all that is orange, he NEEDS TO stop rushing!

He's an English teacher in South Korea, or at least he was back when he was on like his 40th episode of the binding of Isaac. Idk if he still is, but I don't see any reason not to make it 30-60 minutes unless he just like the style of 20 minutes.
And don't forget his outrageous slip ups that makes his videos hilarious :)

That's I like majorslack, culveyhouse, and alchestbreach, they aren't horrible at what they are trying to do, they tend to be entertaining, they know what they are talking about (most of the tim) and they aren't lacking basic intelligence.

The way I was thinking about it is if he STOPPED RUSHING ;D and took it slower. Maybe he could have one recording session a day. That way he'll get better at Spelunky and there would be less video lagg time. The only downside is it would take a lot of time to make and he might miss a few scheduled days. I like longer episodes because where i live there is honestly nothing to do so i can keep entertained, but i guess I'm being a bit selfish in that regard.

It's a great suggestion. Tho' I dont think It's a good idea for him business wise. If he was to upload 1 video a day, but longer, he would get 3 times less the views, if we say he was to upload 3 videos a day at approx 20 min as he pretty much does now, he maximizes the views. He is getting paid per 1000 views. So long videos would not be optimal.. Business Wise ofc :D

Watch some of his early Dead Space 2, Penumbra, or Amnesia custom stories (If he has Stephano then you've probably gone too far into his channel). He used to be really good before he began forcing voices on everything, pretending to be more scared than he actually is, and over-acting his expressions for the sake of the face-cam. He used to be pretty good, he started to go downhill once he reached 30,000 subscribers and was pretty much a husk by the time he reached 100,000 subscribers.
Was watching old Spelunky videos, stuff happens in the video, then I think "I wonder what people thought about X", then search a keyword in the comments real quick.
