He almost died, damaged his kidneys. So he could still have some medical issues that he doesn’t discuss. It’s ok if he keeps his medical private he doesn’t owe us anything about his private life.

When he had the heat stroke I believe he was also under going multiple organ failure. He required dialysis at the time to stabilize him.

He did movies in the 2000s that still gave 90s Martin vibes, whatever transpired medically happened somewhere between 2010-2020. Whatever it was it’s his business and I pray he enjoys the fruits of his labors for many more years to come.

Poor guy. I hope he gets thru whatever it is he’s going through. His special back from the 90s is still one of my favorite stand up shows. And that show got me through high school.

It looks like Martin's handlers sat him ALL the way down!! Martin is not okay and neither is Lark Voorhees. Is that a coincidence I don't know. But they were both vibrant in their careers then all of a sudden mental illnesses take hold. We may never know the true story. But I pray for them both. It is sad to see they are both struggling as a result. I wish them well.
People should stop acting surprised about Martin's condition. The man has been exhibiting significantly lower energy over the last 20 years in comparison to how he was in the 90s. However, making this a story is a bit tacky to me. Lots of people are sensationalizing it, and I feel it's unnecessary. He is clearly overcoming health challenges, which is his business.

It’s clear to me that either Martin is on some heavy Prescription Meds (sedatives) for some reason or he possibly had a Stroke (and I’m not talking about the heat stroke back in the 90’s)!…. I pray 🙏🏽 he either gets help if it’s some kind of pill addiction, or that he takes the appropriate time he needs to heal and recover mentally and physically from whatever may be ailing him… We are all rooting for you Martin! … Peace and Blessings 💜

My heart goes to Martin. It's not drinking or similar but it seems that some consequences of a possible stroke he had some years ago. Or, he may have some mental issues. Whatever it is, it's not easy for him and his family. Let's be humble as he is, after all, just a human being like us. Plus, we never know what comes our way.

I hung around Martin for 3 years from 97 to 2000 where I played basketball on his MARTIN show team. Problem is, I noticed people treat him like a celebrity instead of a friend.

It's gotta be all of the above. Bipolar meds have something to do with it, old age has something to do with it, and just not prioritizing physical fitness as much, maybe due to getting old and having all those old man aches and pains. A combination of all that has zapped his comedic energy and it has shown in his roles and media appearances. He hasn't had the classic Martin energy since at least 2011 with Big Momma's House 3.

Martin has been on psychotropics for his stress and Bipolar Disorder for years. These meds does affect you for years. I am a Mental Health Professional and I see these symptoms all the time. What physicians do not tell you is the long term symptoms of these Meds.
I think when you play a certain character always entertaining and trying to make people laugh it can become exhausting because people can start to expect you to be one way.
If I'm Not Mistaken, Martin Lawrence Has Had More Than One Stroke, But Whatever It Is, He's Human Just Like The Rest Of Us And He Has Other Medical Issues That He's Been Dealing With..This Combined Could Be Getting Worse The Older He Gets.. Either Way, I'm Praying For Him.
