    Very useful video, thanks Ralph, the 1050 is such a versatile module.
    AMSynths are making modules that connect to the 1027 and its rear mounted 12-way socket. An additional column of voltages (AM1028) or two columns and manual settings (AM1026). ARP originally planned a very capable sequencer sub-system - but only the 1027 and 1050 were manufactured.

      Yes, I am always keeping an eye on your developments. I have read about the 1026 on your website. Thank you so much for watching my video and leaving a comment. Best regards, Ralph

    The 1050 was the module that forced me to get into eurorack, it's great.

    Thanks Ralph 😁 A most instructional tutorial. I love the 2500 modules and may well end up getting more of them in the future. I shall go and have an experiment now 😁

    Das ist ja raffiniert! 😊Da wäre ich jetzt echt nicht drauf gekommen. Coole Idee! Danke für den Tipp! Da könnte ich ja noch weitere Reihen eines weiteren Sequenzers mit dazu nehmen und wenn der 2 x 8 steps hätte, hätte man sogar 3+2 mal 8 Steps= 5 * 8 = 40!

    • @RalphBaumgartl
      @RalphBaumgartl  13 дней назад +1

      Ja klar, man kann mehrere Sequencer in Reihe schalten. Der 1050 bietet so viele außergewöhnliche Möglichkeiten. Guten Start in die Woche, Ralph

    Interesting, as I am in the process of designing a 16-step CV/Audio sequencer for my Behringer 2600. The 1050 may be useful to expand it.
    P S Nice touch colour-coding your patch cables to match the colours of the sequencer channels.

      The 1050 is a very powerful and interesting mixer for any Eurorack system. I am going to demonstrate this in the Audio mixing tutorial. I am glad you noticed my color choice for the patch cables ;-) Greetings, Ralph

    Ripping! I believe our American friends would call some of these sounds "trippy". But then that's partly why we play synthesiser.

    Possible i´m confused, because it seems to me at 9:23 each column of the 1027 performs 5 steps, not six, am i right?
    Otherwise very good video, especially how the patching is explained. I'm looking forward to getting started with the ARP 2500 re-creation!

    • @RalphBaumgartl
      @RalphBaumgartl  13 дней назад

      You are right. I already inserted a Text in the Video which states that I mean 5 steps and a 15 step sequence in total. Perhaps you may have to turn on captions to see the text. Cheers, Ralph

  • @donerskine7935
    @donerskine7935 19 дней назад

    Oh, and you didn't make an 18 (6x3) step sequence at the end, you made a 15 (5x3) step sequence!

    • @RalphBaumgartl
      @RalphBaumgartl  19 дней назад

      It's six. Count the position gate slots and the outgoing cable... ;-)

      @@RalphBaumgartl Take a look at about 9:08. 5 LEDs cycle in sequence. If you are resetting on (the beginning of) count 6, that step doesn't occur, as at it immediately resets to the first step.
