I love that sometimes you do these simple builds. Most of mine are fairly simple (I don't have the patience for the big detailed builds) so it's nice to get little tips on how to make a simple habitat still look good. :D
I really enjoyed this sort of "logistics" episode. I don't play Planet Zoo, and usually I would say I would never be interested in that kind of game, but I like the way you simplify a usually complex game down into just few steps. I think it makes your videos very "beginner friendly" and I never feel lost while watching your videos. I also love the combination of real life zoo elements with the limits of the game. Kudos to you!
This was such an interesting episode, I love all of the tips you included! The peccary habitat fills that space very well, I love how the path slopes up to the jaguar dome.
Absolutely love the arial shot, it really helps with knowing where everything is which was a little hard to follow with so much going on. It looks so realistic! Fantastic work and I feel very honoured to be used as the example for how you update the monolith 😊
In the 4 years of playing this game, it still takes me to school and the content creators who make stuff for this game! I never in a million years would have imagined that one keeper would have been adequate to cover that many habitats even with efficient placements of buildings and gates! Really really cool to see that and learn that! Love the content my dude
Another section complete. I really enjoyed seeing the explanation of how you are able to run multiple big habitats with low amounts of keepers. That must take a lot of planning (especially on a project this big) to ensure it all runs smoothly. Awesome work!
Great habitat. Nice seeing how you finish off dead ends in the zoo. Just as a correct, we have 4 swines now! Common Warthog, North Sulawesi Babirusa, Red River Hog, Collared Peccary!
I didn't actually think of there only being 4 pig species in the game ahaha. we've got the warthog, babirusa, red river hog and now collared peccaries!! The habitat looks so good and fits perfectly in Amazonia
You’re not wrong about peccaries digging up their habitat. I care for two at my zoo and while I have managed to have a mulch floor for most of the habitat, they have specific holes that they always dig up no matter what I do. So I’ve compromised with them with those holes and an actual mud hole I made them and let me have the rest of habitat be the mulch floor. They work with me better than the African porcupines do. They dig wherever they want regardless of my wants and needs.
I think a big safari habitat would be cool and maybe it could have separate sections for like cheetahs and then another section for gazelles or something
Bit of an insane idea, BUT, what about an arctic/antarctic house? It'd be an indoor building with animals native to the arctic/antarctic regions and the building be climate controlled. Habitats are cold for snow but the guest areas would be heated. Obviously the habitats would be fully enclosed. Not sure how many animals in game would fit in, but I think there's atleast 3
What is the setting option that allows you to cover the mud bath with terrain ? I haven't been hable to find the setting option that allows you to do that.
You need to go to Settings-Game Settings-Terrain restriction. When you see terrain restriction you have in front of it a white square, you need to select it. After that it should work.@@dyanthaschobben8159
this is the thing i like about san bernardino zoo it dosent have like100 of thousand pounds exibitits it has nice filler animals that some players cant achieve i expecially liekd the peaccary habitat it kinda reminds me of the wild boar habitat at whipsnade zoo also iv got a question will there be a western area liek the wild west. but all taht i mean is just u are an amazing builkder:) also in the africa area will there be african peguins

I am surprised you can manage three habitats with just one keeper in such an area. I use a lot (too much) more than that.
It helps that the land part is next to the gates, he doesn’t have to walk far
