I think one of the main appeals of bts is that they are so wholesome.
Personally what I love about bts music is that they don't try to make stylish or edgy music.all of bts music is just in one word sincere.

I wish award shows, journalist and the media and general , would stop misrepresenting who BTS is as a group. They are so much more. Their music have so much heart and passion. The messages in their songs are so beautiful. Just who they are as people and as artists are just beautiful.
Your message at the end is so true. I really appreciate how listening to BTS is able to put me in a much better mindset to face the day or wind down from a hard day. It's so easy to be a fan of theirs and appreciate these artists.
And kpop idols are such inspiring people, for going through so much just to chase their dreams and bring people joy. That people can be so against something just because they aren't familiar with it will always baffle me.
I agree, BTS really are so much more than KPOP. While they do work as kpop idols, they also want to be seen as international artists. They don’t want to be categorized and they shouldn’t be categorized.

Jhope is so epic, he paid alot of money to the original creators of the Chicken Noodle soup song he actually payed double the amount to use it even though he didn't have to. He also credited the original artist for the song,he said he wanted to do this song because it was one of the first songs he learned to dance to when he was growing up. So every time the originalsong makes money Creator gets paid, he then put out his version for free. He really is a super awesome guy.

For Seesaw - Suga wanted it to be very k-pop idol-ish. He just asked the dance to not be that difficult xD

Thank girls for loving BTS and their duality...I'm not sure if you know they're not doing so well in the states, because of no radio play....this issues is the.one thing that holds them back from mainstream in the states
We definitely both know 🥺 Believe me, if it were up to either of us we would play them once an hour! I make sure to do what I can behind the scenes to vouch for the guys and eventually get them way more radio play. I can’t wait until it happens!

I also love Yoongi, JHope ...and Jimin...and Jungkook and...oh I CANNOT single them out. I’m OT7. They are all superb. But Suga and Jimin’s songs especially break my heart. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry.
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals
