Chatty Q&A | Welcome to my Channel & 1,000th Subscriber Joy

Welcome to my channel. I'm Emma. You're probably here because you needed help with your face mask. I wanted to make this video to introduce myself and my channel. So what better opportunity than a Q&A that nobody asked for! In this channel introduction video I talk about my plans for this RUclips channel, why I started making videos, youtubers that I love to watch (Jenna Marbles, SimplyNailogical, Molly Burke and Joanna Cedia to name a few). I talk about my first job living my best 16 year old life on the checkouts of ASDA (Walmart). Cringey old videos I posted. The thing I've done that's required the most courage in my life was probably the time I bought a one way flight to Barcelona to work at a kids camp over summer. Courageous, or stupid. Still not 100% sure. And my hobbies? They're scattered in amongst doing a PhD in science, but I do Scottish Gaelic language classes and play the piano if nobody is listening.
P.S. I moved! So I also chucked in an unsolicited office tour. Yes I tried to make it look like a natural history museum/ botanical gardens (inspired by my favourite themed restaurant). Yes that giraffe picture gives me life.
Apologies this video is very chatty and... Long! So I'm not sure if anyone will watch for long, but-
HUGE announcement. So since my face mask video has got so many views... I got approved to join the youtube partner program... Eeek! Also... I have absolutely no idea what to do about getting so many new subscribers, and I do honestly keep thinking it must be some accident. But I wanted to make this video to fill you in on the update! Ah! This video felt almost too self-indulgent to post 😅 but I wanted to let every one know a big announcement...
