Elisa, Alex and I were there for both races and would like to say a HUGE thank you to Ryan, Dimitri, Leh and the Team for giving us such a fabulous welcome to the rig. To actually sit in the winning car was such a fantastic experience and the added souvenirs were the icing on the cake. Such wonderful memories. Congratulations to you all and thank you for 2 amazing years on track. Derrick Green🇬🇧
It was great to finally meet you, sir. Thank you for making the trek overseas and visiting with the team, it was certainly one of the highlights for us all.
@@311RSMotorsport next task for me is to apply the windscreen sticker😉D🇬🇧
So who will be in the #12 car next year? And what was the winning margin? Wow.
@@cag4 The gap to P2 was 8.9sec after 30 laps. Plans for 2023 have not been announced, but working to push the program forward combining what we have learnt and new ideas.

Thanks Doug & team.
Hoping for more content soon🤞
See you guys at Sebring!
Do you guys have any plans to offer some 311RS merch on your website?
Doesn’t get any better then this.
Hi, a question i have . do u guys ever used negative toe/toe out at rear of porsche cup either this or older ones ?
We have not. Late in 2021 we tested with less rear toe than you would "normally" want and in our testing the results were not positive. Since then we have ran toe-in in the range that you would expect.
@@311RSMotorsport so is this universal for other teams or just you guys ?
i ask these because i read somewhere that porsche cup cars use negative toe at , which seems strange to me for rwd cars.
@@RB26N we cannot speak for others, but some level of toe-in on the rear is standard for 911s. Toe out would make for a spicy setup.
@@311RSMotorsport hahaha spicy setup, i like it.
Thank you for clearing my doubts much appreciated.
👏👏👏
Did you guys leave cup racing?
We did at the end of 2022 - due to rising costs, series direction, and the loss of our engineer (RIP Greg), it was the right time. We do intend to return, but for the moment we can say we went out with a win with Laurin in Greg's final race, which will always be special for everyone on the team.
@@311RSMotorsport thanks for the response. Great finish for a great team. Looking forward to seeing you guys back out there. 🍻
No more 311 RS in Porsche Carrera cup . R.I.P. Greg Forhdal 🚘🚘😥😥😥
Desperately sad to hear about Greg today. I spoke with him briefly when the team was packing up after a monumental two days. His chequered flag time really ended on a high. So sad.
