How To Get Big Money Sponsors and Product Sponsors For Your Race Team - 8 Helpful Tips

- In this video, I talk about how to get money sponsors and product sponsors for your race team. Racing is an expensive sport and it takes a lot of funding to make it happen. Here are some of my helpful tips on how to fund your team!

Helpful Tips :
1. Make a Resume, Letter, Video, or Proposal. This is a way to tell your story and promote yourself to a company.
3. Make sure you know your market. Make sure you are going to companies that are in the area of your track or where you race. Also, make sure you talk to the right person in the company, such as the advertising manager or general manager.
4. When communicating with your potiental sponsors, you can text, call, email, or meet in person. I recommend to email or call first to set up a meeting, then meet with them in person.
5. Show your passion in what you do. People like to support people with passion.
6. Once you acquire your sponsors, take care of them. Send them updates, invite them to the track, and keep them involved. The more involved they are, the better chance you have of them coming back in the future.
7. You are going to hear no. Do not let it get you down, keep working hard.
8. GET PRODUCT SPONSORS. Sometimes it is as easy as filling out a form. Look up the company you are intrested in, then type in "the sponsor + sponsorship." Then you will find out what their program is.

I like how you touched on the topic of product sponsorship, it is more important than people think. For a long time I focused on nothing but cash sponsors and wound up nowhere, even being as well-known as I am in the area. All it took was a little effort, and showing them how I eat and breath racing like you do to have what I do now. Between my fuel, graphics, injection/engine, and photography product sponsors I save thousands of dollars every race season! It would take a lot of cash sponsors to match how much I save every year in products I use race to race. Great Video!

I love the topic of media exposure. I recently did a letter to our local race track. I offered extreme exposure threw media sources and they declined saying they had a team that does that already. I reviewed their media channel and every single video and or reel / short only had an average of 150 views.....hmmmm lol
I have a big dream, and that dream is to be a racer someday, but the hard thing is we don't have enough money to that racing, and that's my dream, i always talk to myself if i will continue that dream but the thing is we don't have enough money for that. I'm only 16 years old too but here in the philippines is so hard to have a sponsorship. I hope i will be like you someday, thank you. 🥺❣️

If your meeting a future sponsor at their location Say a grocery store, a parts store or repair shop would bringing the car to them be a good idea?
Possibly. I would meet first and then maybe invite them to your shop or house to check it out!

hey tanner doubt you'll see this or care to read this man but, I race dwarf cars and if I get some sponsors I'm sure they want there sponsor on the race car, do I ask for some stickers for the car or ask if they want there logo or what ever on the car? need help before I go into it thanks.
Ask for their logo and get the sticker made or wrap made on your own!
