@@Cvlvc7 umm maybe because he was writing a house song? He obviously has talent to write music. And guess what? every song in a certain genre will have their similarities. It’s like complaining about a rap song sounding the same as another rap song. Please stop hating because you sound 100% like all the other people who are hating.
I always use the Q-Flam in logic pro to do strumming automatically, it works brilliant and there are loads of time settings. its in the inspection box under where quantize and transpose are, if anyone cares, lol.
About 5 years ago Went to school for music dropped out Bc I couldn’t take it in a classroom and bookworm all day. Seriously considering hopping in this class I need a refresher and want to start producing!!!!!!!
I've been watching I don't even know how many videos now trying to figure out how to find a good creation flow that makes sense to me, and this was the first video where I actually feel like I understood what sounds to put together, when, why, and how. Appreciate the great vid!
I Have to admit that little swing on the last part of the bass was F*@*ING SMOKIN!!!!!!!. Pure QUALITY Alex bro!!!!!.👍👍💥👍 It just shows u something so simple!!! Can have a massive effect!!!.
I totally agree dude. I used to feel bad about “borrowing” this or that from here or there, but I eventually found out that I’m not good enough to actually reproduce the original sound so that it’s recognizable LOL
That's how I start songs too. But if I don't have acapella or vocal hook, I don't know what to do during the breaks or verses. And i can't finish songs many times.
“Delay before reverb” I still have a lot to learn… can you make a video on tips on organizing plugins? I seem to make tracks with no sense of direction, purely trial and error… unless that’s what it’s all about
The order you use plug-ins is actually really important, but specifically you want to use the delay before the reverb because if you use the reverb first, then the delay will replicate the original sound and the reverb effect together and it can sound muddy and cluttered.
five years ago I bought a mac pro Quad Core barrel and logic pro x whatever they did and where? (the wheel of death HANGING) destroyed the hard drive yesterday put a new one, the same problem help !!!
How to fit the vocal properly on beat ,I had made the instrumental in 128 but vocal was in 135 . I set it to 135 bpm in detect the sample (fl studio option) .when I sent to the Artist they r telling me the vocal is not beat /off beat .. could you make a tutorial on this topic - how to fit vocal on beat .
I need to get me some broken glasses with no lenses in and hopefully I'll be 20 % better
haha
Lmaoooo 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know headphones?
Wait is this man wearing sunglasses with one leg and no lenses
that was great! and i agree, no problem in copying sounds, melodies, chords or samples as long as it''s transformed to sound your own in the end.
This sounded 100% like a million other house tracks though.

Hey Alex, please make a tutorial on how to make piano deep house like Calvo or MK. 🙂
Korg M1 is key
I’d like a piano house tutorial as well 😂 it’s easy asf tbh but I like watching other peoples workflow and sound choice too for inspiration lmao
That sounds so much like Meduza's Lose Control. Awesome!!

The swing setting in ableton always ruins my flow. I wish it was more like this...
Me too
Try adding swing manually.
Switch to Cubase lol
@@LeChapeauMusic there is a swing setting on cubase?
@@liamkinghorn231 of course there is, there's literally everything in cubase!!!
Alex where can we listen to your finished songs
I literally smashed that subscribe button at 0:25
Pure inspiration. Great job 👌🏻

Pls do another Avicii style Tutorial, melodies And sounds

I usually just make an 8 bar beat, show it to the cleaning lady, and then go back to my day job.
I love this kind of video, we can all steal your ideas, maybe even follow along, it's a huge help. Thanks Alex!
I have just gotten one step closer to being the smartest man on Earth,Thanks for the video
The snapping and zooming on Logic pro always interrupts my flow
I love that slappy bassline 🔥
Just found your videos, amazing stuff, thanks so much!
Cool tutorial very helpful thank you, can I ask how your glasses stay on with only one arm ?!???!! I’m baffled
doesn't need to sidechain bass and kick in logic pro ? it's always sounds good with a simple sample. Do I need to switch from FL Studio ?
dude ur glasses with no lenses are sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
How can I get this video? It's everything I needed!!
i like your energy brotha!

yup (: thanks for sticking around
Awesome tutorial to learn about sampling for beginners man, inspired me to keep at it
Nice video but why use splice for the hats ? They are very easy to create manually so they don't sound generic
Nice. Basic. I've got over 100 8 bar files saved. How do we get to a whole song now?
you are amazing, thank you!!!!
Imagine if you added side-chain (It would make everything so much better, like 60% better)
im a young dj and im gonna try to make my own music so thanks :)

"So adorable I love this"
Watching your videos to feel that way too....great work thanks for sharing with us!
Do you need low bass monitor or yamaha hs5 will be ok for producing this type of music?
Funny I used that vocal clip in a hip hop jam a couple of years ago.
Banging lil start there! Great tips and vid. Liked and subbed
Next tutorial idea: Bitwig sequencer voice sampling or chord strum note device
Yo Alex, good stuff. Can you please do a video on all the hot keys you use while making vocal chops to improve workflow?
