Our first kiss was at midnight. For 40 years we wrote love notes and poems to each other. Flowers and gifts to each other for no special reason other than to say, "I love you,". We were each others lover, friend and confidant . We would defend and protect one another to the end. I would always say that God must have been thinking of me when HE created them. I will always be greatfull to have loved and been loved is such a marvelous way. You too can find the same happiness. Just open your heart and don't be afraid. Letting yourself be hurt is the sure way to find true love. Once it comes into your life you will know. It ALWAYS comes to you when you aren't expecting it.

I used to deliver groceries to Anne's mom in Springhill N.S., Canada...where I grew-up....Anne inspired me...and I LOVED her music. She had so many hits that she got over-exposed in the 70's...and her image wasn't 'cool'....so some of the best songs of the 80's, 90's went overlooked. Her 1996 self-titled album is a prime example...The critics raved, but not a huge commercial success. Her 'Croonin' CD was called a "masterpiece" by Linda Rondstat's producer.....and was called a classic by most high-profile producers of the day.

Yep, she's a beauty through and through. Heard her Dad was the town doctor where she is from. Bet he was one of those who'd deliver a baby regardless of the families ability to pay. She and her brother Bruce always seem like they were raised well. Seems like her soul, her voice and her physical attractiveness are all right there. She has such a beautiful smile. Her music lulled me to sleep as a small child. She reminds me of a strong Aunt who's very beautiful. I love how her eyes always seem to glisten. Probably one of the most beautiful people ever.

I used to deliver groceries to Anne's mom in Springhill N.S., Canada...where I grew-up....Anne inspired me...and I LOVED her music. She had so many hits that she got over-exposed in the 70's...and her image wasn't 'cool'....so some of the best songs of the 80's, 90's went overlooked. Her 1996 self-titled album is a prime example...The critics raved, but not a huge commercial success. Her 'Croonin' CD was called a "masterpiece" by Linda Rondstat's producer.....and was called a classic by most high-profile producers of the day.

old songs are really something.. Anne is one of my fav. singers and my friends told me that i have terrible song choice that it's too old, but for me it's just so beautiful and meaningful like you feel the Love the emotions.

Yep, she's a beauty through and through. Heard her Dad was the town doctor where she is from. Bet he was one of those who'd deliver a baby regardless of the families ability to pay. She and her brother Bruce always seem like they were raised well. Seems like her soul, her voice and her physical attractiveness are all right there. She has such a beautiful smile. Her music lulled me to sleep as a small child. She reminds me of a strong Aunt who's very beautiful. I love how her eyes always seem to glisten. Probably one of the most beautiful people ever.
her voice is so powerful! i could feel the chills coming out from my body when i hear her songs! The best cure for those people who are stress up from too much thinking. it also brings me back from the past!

WOWSIE .. . first Anne Murray song I heard was *_Snowbird_* around 1969-1970, I think that was the first song of hers that charted in the US.
Who's still listening in 2023. True classic! Timeless! This is such beautiful song. I will tire of this song....

A smooth voice and style, could sing the phone book and you would love it.
This is one of my most favorite songs ever. Anne Murray was so unassuming with a great voice and was always able to pick a song that suited her wonderful sound.She was always at ease with her audiences and that is why she was so popular.It was the greatest disappointment when she decided to stop singing. What a loss!!
