This season is a MASTERPIECE. So many twists, so many emotional moments. And how they had to leave the farm in the end? That was so devastating 💔 This show keeps getting better and better! 💯 You can now find our reactions to episodes 1-10 of season 3 of The Walking Dead over on our Patreon: www.patreon.com/ScribblesReactions
They were questioning his leadership after all the hard work he had done to protect all of them. He ran after Sophia, no one else. Hes been protecting everyone and now they just gonna be like this towards him. Rick was right in this. Ricktatorship🔥
Howdy Draven, I just found this channel and I’m not surprised to see you here😂 I’ve seen you in the comments of… Pretty much every single TWD reaction on YT😂😂😂
24:03 I'm with Rick on this one he didn't ask for any of this, he's willing to do whatever it took to keep his family and friends safe If they can take it and be better off without rick, there's the door, he's not gonna stop them
@Getstr8cash Negan doesn't come until years from now . We all know why he spared him btw. Lets say your best friend leads you into the woods like that . Would you have let him just kill you ?
@@yasmeenbeasley ik because Carl wanted him to spare negan but Shane and Rick they could’ve worked something out in the future seasons rick even feels guilt he even knew it didn’t have to come that way that’s why he apologized for killing him in 9x5
Couldn’t disagree more saying Rick is just like Shane. Shane tried to kill Rick twice! What was he supposed to do? Kill Shane honorably after Shane has betrayed him by trying to kill him so he can get with his wife?
You can't think Rick tricking Shane before killing him is bad because Shane tricked Rick in order to lead him into the woods to kill him. Rick killed in self defense and remember Lori wanted Rick to kill Shane because on the farm she told Rick that Shane was dangerous and that Shane had told her Rick couldn't protect them. Rick kills in self defense, Shane flat out murders people. He would have killed Dale too at some point because Dale knew he wanted to kill Rick back when they all reunited. He had Rick in his sights in the woods when Dale caught him.
@@Ladiesman21789he had him at gunpoint twice, and fabricated a whole lie to kill him. Don’t make excuses for him. Rick put doubt in him to confuse him.
There can't be more than one alpha in a pack. He had Maggie now questioning his authority and wanting to leave. Rick took control as the alpha for the sake of the group. It was necessary at this point in time when they were out in the open with no walls, their lives at risk. Notice that no one left. Daryl is strong, but not a leader. He's independent. Rick did what he had to do to Shane because Shane was a clear and present danger. Just like the guys in the bar were a clear and present danger. If they just had a shoot out, both of them could have ended up dead, or Rick might have died and an unstable Shane may have survived. Rick wasn't going to risk that, therefore, the tactic he used was necessary. I have come to realize in hindsight that Shane was not completely wrong about the new world and how things needed to be done. He was wrong when he lost his mind and threatened Rick. Shane needed to be more patient with Rick and I agree that Rick should have been more understanding of Shane's point of view.
Actually i tried to get a job as a extra as a walker, soi live in Canada and went to the usa to try. They liked me as a walker but i had trouble getting a work visa, they said since i wasn't a major actor or it wasn't a major part they didn't let me they said i would have taken a job away from a American citizen
I love Rick, and I understand why he would be reluctant to upset the others by telling them what Jenner said. But he was so wrong to keep that secret. If Beth had succeeded in killing herself, Rick was away in town looking for Hershel and wouldn't have been there to put her down. No one would have been expecting her to turn, which put them all at risk of being bitten. So, to answer Rick's question...yes, it could have made a difference. They were just lucky it didn't before they found out. The actress who played Lori explained in an interview that Lori reacted to Rick that way for two reasons: 1) She was upset that Carl was the one who had to kill Shane, and 2) In that moment, she felt like Rick was becoming too much like Shane. Vera is the only TWD reactor I've ever watched who saw it that way. Kudos to you! And Blanky was correct at the end...Hershel's second wife was in the barn, and Patricia (who died in this episode) was married to Otis. I've been loving your reactions to one of my favorite seasons, and now I'm looking forward to Season 3!
The body parts that the walkers munch on is either chicken or ham covered in colored corn syrup. The effects guys usually give them a choice of which they want lol. I don't think Rick "went to Shane's level" at all. Shane wanted Rick dead from the minute he pointed his rifle at him at the quarry. In that instance, one of them wasn't gonna leave that field alive. It was either Shane or Rick, and Rick chose to live. He knew Shane better than anybody and I think he realized that Shane had lost it and had every intention of killing him. Why is Lori mad at Rick that Carl put Shane down? If she'd been keeping an eye on her kid he wouldn't have been out there. On the other hand, if he hadn't been there Walker Shane would've killed Rick. What else was Rick supposed to do in that situation? Let Shane kill him? I think Lori's mostly mad because she put them at odds. She knew it would come to this. I think she thought Shane would kill Rick and the choice would be made for her. Maggie's mama died. Beth's mama (2nd wife) was in the barn. The lady that died when the farm was overrun was Patricia, Otis' wife.
About the Lori scene this is my take on the subject based on the scene alone and also one interview Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori’s actress) did way back when S2 ended. Lori isn’t actually mad at Rick when Rick says he killed Shane she’s kinda shocked and you know kinda sad after all Shane did matter to her and to Rick as well when Rick says he wanted to kill Shane she’s scared that he may be turning into the new Shane (and that final scene with the beginning of the Ricktatorship didn’t help it either) But what really destroys her is to learn that Carl was the one to put him down she’s blaming both herself and Rick for not being able to protect Carl from the horrors of this new world we can clearly see how much Carl is changing and now he had to kill someone who meant a lot to him at that moment she’s feeling so many things and she can’t process it she doesn’t want anyone touching her or talking to her she just need a moment to herself so she can take a breath and process everything. You can see it all in the facial and corporal expressions of Lori you can see she’s still close to Rick and absorbing all the information that Rick is giving to her I killed him/ I wanted to kill him however that bigger reaction only happens after Rick says Carl put him down you can see that’s when she goes away and don’t want Rick to touch her she wasn’t scared or angry at him she just needed a moment to take a breath and process everything.
Exactly ur a masterpiece for that cuz people don’t really understand Lori’s character they think that she got mad cuz she loved shane she never loved shane she was manipulated by him and sexually assaulted by him he lied to her and manipulated her I really love how u understand the situation
Patricia was Otis's wife. She die with the farm was over run by the herde. Hershel's wife was Beth's mother and she was in the barn with her brother Shaun.
Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 Fun fact, the barn was built just to burn it at the end of this season, 👍 I also felt that they should have had a rendezvous picked out with some emergency items hidden there, especially in a world such as this, but in this case they at least had the Sophia sign on the highway to fall back on, I personally feel they could have waited in vehicles pointed in the direction they are going to leave, and then at least given Andrea a bit more time to get there since she was on foot, 😏👍 In an interview Sarah Wayne Callie’s (Lori) said she felt that Lori was more in shock about Carl putting Shane down than being mad at Rick, but in my personal opinion if she was in shock she would not have acted the way she did while looking at Rick like he is a monster of the lowest kind, I can see the backing away being shock, not the slapping his hand away and looking like he was going to murder them all (especially after the things she whispered in his ear all about Shane possibly being a threat at the end of E9), because we witnessed it, we get to see the whole picture, so shocked reactions by anyone in the group would not come as a surprise, 👍 I personally feel that Rick should have told the group what Dr. Jenner had said, that could have been dangerous for everyone if someone had died in their sleep from a heart attack, 😏 RIP Patricia (Jane McNeill) & Jimmy (James Allen McCune) Not quite sure how Rick, Carl and Hershel missed Andrea considering Hershel was staring out the back window at the loss of the farm, 😏 Loved the introduction to the new character, 👍😀👍 Have a safe and wonderful weekend, 👋😀👋
Rick isn’t like Shane. Shane lied to the group, undermined the leader of the group, was ready to sacrifice others for his means, Sexually assault is “best friend’s” wife, and fabricate a lie to kill him.
I wouldn't say Rick became like Shane because he killed Shane. Idk what else was he supposed to do really? Take the bullet from Shane and die probably dooming the rest of the group as well cuz Shane sure would not work as a leader? Try to go back to normal after Shane has pointed a gun at Rick and announced his intent to kill him? There's no going back from that. It was over for one of them. Because of that I wouldn't say Rick became like Shane. Rick lost it a bit the way he talked to the group but frankly I can't blame him for that either. He just had to put down his best friend. He has been feeling pent up stress about Shane for a while. And now it all came to the surface and he couldn't hold back his emotions anymore. Normal rules don't apply in this world anymore and people will have to change. As much as Rick's delivery might not have been the best, if they would split up they would end up even worse. There's power in numbers after all, especially in an apocalypse.
Lori is the frickin worst character on this show. She flip flops back and forth with everything she says. She fanned the flame with Shane. It was all her fault.

Yes, agree.
About the "Ricktatorship"... when you have a group that is understandably panicking one MUST take control or it would be chaos and people WILL die
His hands are clean🤷🏾♀️ Shane lured him into them woods to kill him. He did nothing wrong !
Rick kills Shane but he sparred negan makes sense
@Getstr8cash Negan doesn't come until years from now . We all know why he spared him btw. Lets say your best friend leads you into the woods like that . Would you have let him just kill you ?

The group could’ve survived if Hershel kept shooting his unlimited ammo shotgun.

So much happened in the last 3 episodes 🤯 Great reactions bring on season 3! ❤
Thanks so much! 🥰
And so begins the Ricktatorship.
Shane stage the whole Randall mess, let Rick out to put a bullet in his back he gave him no choice
One of my favorite season finales of TWD! It was very intense & emotioal.. This was the Golden era of the show..
All praise the Ricktatorship!

I hope you both enjoyed this season as much I did. Welcome to the Walking Dead Family. I can’t wait till you both see the other seasons. 😊
