Your "killing" the wood before glue up is rarely if ever seen. Very nice. Makes tight joints last without seams. Fantastic job with conscientious attention to detail and long lasting results.
What do you mean by “killing the wood”?
@@slicerabbit6166 Where Ishitani-san is hammering the tenons and the wood around the mortises before glue up. The hammering is colloquial called "killing the wood" and allows the wood fibers to be compressed, and then later expand for a very tight fit.

You know you've watched alot of Ishitani's videos when you can distinguish the specific sound of his table saw starting up.
Upon seeing just the thumbnail, i immediately "heard" it.
I don't think I have paid so much attention , even to my engineering classes ...
