    Hi! We leave out on Harmony from Galveston in 3 weeks from today!! I wanted to say so far your video has been my favorite and most informative. We have 3 cabins on deck 8 and now I’m so excited!! I think it’s the best one we could’ve gotten. My husband had brain surgery last year in the summer so we haven’t been anywhere since. We are looking forward to some R&R as he’s been back at work full time for over a year! God is good and we are going to find each of these places on the ship! 🚢 Thank you again!!

    We stayed in an interior balcony (14 321). This was the third to last cabin, right under about where the mini golf area was. It was ok first day or two, but then we noticed soot from the smokestacks would coat everything on our balcony overnight. I definitely recommend getting a cabin forward of the smokestacks if you want an interior balcony room.

      Thank you for your comment. Overall how was the noise level in your cabin?
      I talked to some people that say it’s noisy and others that say they didn’t hear a thing.
      We spoke with a couple that said they didn’t like the interior balcony because of privacy, they said they always had to make sure the blinds/drapes were closed.

      @@JaysonJudson noise wasn’t too bad. I think we had some loud overhead stomping once or twice. We sleep with a brown noise app when we’re traveling so noise is rarely an issue.

      I doubt that they could do anything, but maybe put out a warning to the marketing department?

      Thank you….
      The Royal Promenade can get a little busy sometimes, and when they do the parade it gets packed with people.
      There are seats along the back in the aft of the ship on the running track and you can just sit and watch the wake, it’s very peaceful.
      I appreciate you watching and your comment.

    Our 1st cruise was 5 months ago on this ship and loved it. Central Park and the Solarium area were my favorites. Bummed we didn't try 150 - going to next time. Ooh didn't know about Dazzles - I saw on the map it was a night club so never thought about going there during the day.

    Thanks for sharing...Going in a couple weeks but let me just clarify...did you say the breakfast at Johnny Rockets is free? I hear the Windjammer gets crazy busy..no tables available..so this is nice to know

      @JaysonJudson  Год назад +1

      Yes, Johnny Rockets breakfast was free, and it was great, it wasn’t a buffet, it was table service.
      We are currently on the Allure of the Seas and breakfast is free at Johnny Rockets.
      The other alternative is the solarium bistro it isn’t as crowded as the Windjammer.

    • @beckysutherland2065
      @beckysutherland2065 7 месяцев назад +1

      I enjoyed her very much. Even though there were about 6,800 other ppl on board with me, I could rarely tell. The only time I saw lines (lots of other ppl) was when I was outside of Windjammer waiting for it to open. Or down on the Boardwalk watching the parade or the Honor the Veterans show. Or when waiting for the shows to open. All times you would expect to see lots of ppl. There's so much space to spread out I never felt crowded. I will say that I'm a cashier and I'm used to always standing, but I have a pad that I stand on designed to take the strees off of my feet and back. At the end of my week on her, due to the standing I did all week my knees were aching. Make sure to bring good shoes. Once I got back to work for a couple of days my knees were happy again.

    We went on Allure last September and going on Harmony this summer with the grandkids. So, Park Cafe and Johnny Rockets are free for breakfast? We did the free breakfast by the basketball/pickleball court for breakfast after playing pickleball a few times with no line and plenty of seats. Good to know about more options.

      We didn’t on this cruise, we booked this cruise 5 days before, it was to get over the loss of our dog.
      But, we have been to Ocho Rios before and did a tour with Queen McBeam, it was a private tour and we were the first ones on Dunn River falls, she took us to the bottom where the falls run into the ocean. It was memorable.
      The island tour was amazing, this was pre pandemic so I am not 100% sure she is still doing tours but we are going back to Jamaica next year and I plan on booking something through her.

    did you like your location on deck 8? we were thinking about booking this same room?

      @JaysonJudson  Год назад

      The location was great, we like being close to Central park as it's on 8, also Park Cafe is on 8 (a nice alternative to the windjammer)
      Three decks down to the Royal Promenade on 5 and two decks down to the boardwalk.
      Zero Movement in the cabin, it has a great balcony (it's huge) only complaint would be the mattress itself, it was hard and needed to be replaced IMO.

    @ChuckTownRC51 Год назад +2

    Did you ask them to swap out the mattress?

    • @JaysonJudson
      @JaysonJudson  Год назад +1

      We did, and they said they didn't have another mattress, the stateroom steward brought us 5 mattress pads, which helped a little but they were very thin. We just got off the Allure and this is what we brought with us and they were ok with us leaving it, it was amazing, some of the best sleep we have ever had on a cruise ship.......www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4588JHZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

    The Solarium was a wind tunnel when I was onboard.. couldn't disagree more
    The glass bottom has been there since the ships inception... not going anywhere..
    Move the table out to the balcony??? wth??? why... no.. just no

    • @JaysonJudson

      All I can say is it was hot with no wind, and we are use to the heat being from Orlando.
      So, maybe your experience was different from ours?
      Sorry for any confusion, I wasn’t talking about permanently moving the table to balcony I was talking about moving it out there to have lunch or dinner and putting it back.
      Appreciate the comment and feedback. Jayson

    • @rockhopper01
      @rockhopper01 Год назад +2

      @@JaysonJudson I actually agree with you about the Solarium. We went there multiple times, day and night, looking for that quiet spot with a nice breeze, and this wasn’t it. The sheer amount of glass and plexi on the decks was really the only downside to the ship.

    • @JaysonJudson
      @JaysonJudson  Год назад +2

      I believe Royal Caribbean has heard the feedback, the Wonder of the seas solarium is climate controlled, and it’s my understanding that the Utopia of the Seas (the next Oasis class ship) will be also.
