* Kingsblade Cornix - It is obtained through finding a maniscript near the last MQ in the demo in a ruine just east of the black market trader. You need to interact with the altars in the correct order, which are marked on the shown map. Interacting with the last one rewards you with the corresponding sword.

There are of course more times in the demo but they are very hard to obtain on the expert difficulty. If anyone knows where exactly one can obtain the counter belt, please tell me down below. I will edit the written explanation for the locations.

Your guides on Baldur's Gate 3 have saved my tactician & honor mode playthroughs, and seeing a Unicorn Overlord guide is a pleasant surprise! Can't wait to get the game!

For those unfamiliar with the combat system in this game. The statement "dancer bracelet allows to change a bad passive for a good one" ... is a bit misleading.
Reusing Lex (or rather, the fighter class) as an example: yes his innate passive is situational but it's not useless. It's also worth pointing out that whilst the flavour text implies "protect against arrows" it actually protects against ranged attacks. I've seen it a proc against a gryphon rider attacking my back row.
That being said, because his ability is indeed situational, it's indeed a good idea to use "dancer bracelet" on him but the real deal is the skill setting. You'd set up for ranged attack protect to trigger when relevant but for powerful call to trigger in any other situation.
All in all, you can have it all, and efficiently whilst you're at it.
Edit: same deal with the suggestion for the first aid kit and the gryphon rider, you'd set up both healing skills so that when she gryphon needs healing they can use theirs, when others need healing etc...
Edit 2: Regarding the mega busted sword, APPARENTLY, that got nerfed in the day1 patch... I can only assume because it was way too busted for an early game thing? It still looks pretty good but do expect it to be nerfed.
You are 100%right! I should have clarified that you do not exchange it completely. This is only done when trying to build around a specific combo using the passives effect to its fullest. An example of how to use lex with the bracer: Build a high initiative strike team of low health units and a dodge tank in the front. Lex will use the bracer to buff the dmg of specific units while also keeping the arrow guard in case a ranged attack comes your way threatening your strike unit and the dodge tank susceptible to ranged truestrikes.
As for the sword, thats fine. It is very good and needed to be brought in line.
Some of my faves and synergies:
1. runic sword- this is an anti-armor tank weapon. Like most anti-tank wespons, this is best on someone with high initiative so they go ahead of their striker teammates and get rid of the blocker. So i use this on travis.
2. frostbind tome- this add magic potency and freeze to an attack. Only witches can use so Yahna is a must. Then i combine this with someone who has a row attack like bruno or aubin so they can apply magic dmg and freeze to a full row.
3. Tailwind cape- put on someone with a bad passive then buff someone who has an anti-tank skill like a runic sword/spear or unwavering spear user and mordon or someone with a "row skill" like bruno and aubin. Having them go 1st and delete a tank or possibly kill a bunch of enemies before they get their initial actions of is great action economy.
4. azure crest shield- i like this on a shield unit who has great/multiple passives like Josef. this means they'll have enough PP for multiple pursuits while still being able to use holy barrier.
I also really like the gamblers coin on lex to buff melisandre. Its basically free dmg and she hits much much higher than most characters in the game, enabling you to nuke health tanks in just one hit. seen 120+ dmg hits with her.
@@Mordarimi'll check it out once i get melisandre. So far i havent found a use for gambler's coin aside from rolf because its hard to mitigate that accuracy loss.
