Hi. Not technically joining but have spent this month knitting 16 mountain peaks hats for my grown son's birthday party skiing group. 1.5 to go at this moment. The good news, bulky yarn. The trying bit...SIXTEEN adult hats in the same pattern. Enjoy all your podcasts--many thanks for the work you do to produce them...
I made it to 12 cast Ons. Woo hoo! My last four items are: a pair of thrummed mittens, a tiny gnome, a pair of marled mittens and the Skrabucket. This has been such a fun adventure. I plan to follow your monthly prompts also, as you play your dice game. Thank you very much for including all of us in your knitting plans.
I'm new to your channel. I started watching a few weeks ago. I wanted to thank you for this video because I got a couple hearty chuckles when you showed the "no fishing" sign and the people fishing 🤭 And when you mentioned the person who said she wasn't going to cast on anything new and then she cast on 12 new projects 🤭 In answer to your question, I am a crocheter working on a granny square throw. I think you mentioned your favorite color is orange. Me too. I love the deep rich shade of orange behind you on the wall. Luscious shade of orange 🧡
Naw thanks for watching my videos!! I watched Little Likac's vlogs too. So much fun! Love your handspun for this project. It's working up beautifully!!
Hi Ange! Thank you for this video. I'm very much looking forward to seeing your Vellichor when you add more of the handspun minis. I've started Hosenmatz baby pants and enjoy knitting them very much. Best wishes, Juliane.
Really enjoy your Podcasts, Ange. It's so lovely to have your company, while I'm knitting. Was really tempted to allow myself to join the 12 cast-ons - but I know for me it wouldn't end well 😂😂❤
Hi Ange, another inspirational vlog. I'm looking forward to seeing this project again in the future. Nothing else cast in here, frogged a couple as well. I'm currently working on my love note and enjoying it very much. So much thinking of the next garment. I'm not sure what yet. Maybe a cardigan. Hope all ok with you. Take care. Xx🌈💕
Hi Ange, love the look of your Vellichor, AND that you are using some hand spun. I'm still struggling to put all my spinning projects into knitting projects. I wanted to join 12 Cast Ons 2025 and even made a tentative list, but I had already started the Polina Sweater, the Ingrid Sweater and Iris pullover all in November/December and just can't quite manage so many additional cast ons. I am swatching for the Starnkeeker vest and Heimathafan by Isabell Kraemer. Even though it is Summer in Australia, I still love to knit at this time of year. I'm also full steam ahead with using stash only. Best wishes to you for 2025.
Hey. So many things to comment on today. 1 please let me know if you come to India. I live in Dharamshala and if you ever come this way, you will have for sure a tour guide a knitting buddy there 2 I plan to knit a velichor as well. I thought of taking it as a travel project but the yarn didn't work as i hoped.so i have to do some swatches to figure it out. My yarn is a bit thicker. But it is coming up 3 i will only be reunited with some more wool tomorrow, but have to go straight to the airport. So i will most likely not be able to cast anything else on in time. But cheering you guys on Have a great day
The 12 cast ons is always so fun to watch. My cast-ons so far are a Meret (mystery beret) (finished), cloud peak cardigan, a sweet shop cushion cover, stella quilt blanket, under the ivy cowl, Jili sock (just the one, I did the first one last year and it was quite hard on my hands.), a vuono hat and soul sister scarf, and a same but different cowl.
Hi Ange! I have not finished any of my 12 cast ons, but I’m close to finished on my craggy shore socks. I’ve been working on my oldest wip, Volia Blouse, and I am sooooo close to being done. Sometimes I think about all those lonely cast ons, sitting in their project bags, screaming “me next!”…. Alas, they must wait their turn. We have snow, so I’m knitting and shoveling. Love your new cast on!
Okay yes I cast on a sweater yesterday. VERY OLD STASH, but I’m sick with bronchitis so any excuse for a new cast on…. I think your sweater will be gorgeous
Your Vellichor is going to be stunning! I have cast on all twelve now and ill be finushing the Thoughtful Cowl tonight, which is problematic in thst I can't decide which project to pick up next!
Started 11 of my cast ons so far. In total: 3 adult cardigans, 1 adult jumper, 1 shawl, 1 toddler cardigan, 1 cable toddler jacket, hat and mitts set, 1Baable hat, cowl & gloves set, 1 pair of lace socks, 1 pair of textured socks, a set of 4 pairs of colourwork socks from teacake & make. My final cast on will be another adult jumper on Friday when I have a day off work (& hopefully finished an old WIP to free up the needles!!!).
Started the Arne and Carlos baubles - with the plan of doing two a month for the year? Thought it might help use up my Jamiesons/Jamieson and Smith stash, but at 8g a bauble, I’d have to do a lot more than 24!
Making me nervous! I’m spinning for the background of a the Vellichor, and planning to match with a sauberball crazy for the contrasts. But it sounds a bit tricky? The start of yours is gorgeous though.
I have 3 castons, a Musselburgh in malabrigo sock, dishcloths, I'm trying for 5 or more a month, and a newborn hat, I'm trying for at least one a month.
Lovely, cozy podcast as usual ❤ I'm working on some socks, first pair ever, also one of my 12 cast ons 😃 I like having a palate cleanser so to speak, a small side project for a little instant gratification as well when I have sweater projects going on too. Earwarmers, headbands, cowls, fingerless mitts and hats are nice for that. I've been trying to be good about finishing a WIP before casting on too many more 😅

I may cast on a mobias cowl, or to finish a pair of socks. Attempting to complete an Advent MKAL shawl. Im currently on Day 20!!!
Haha. The socks do not match the sweaters I’m making 😁 your sweater looks amazing so far.
I have 3 castons, a Musselburgh in malabrigo sock, dishcloths, I'm trying for 5 or more a month, and a newborn hat, I'm trying for at least one a month.
You might just finish this first lol
🤣 who knows with me.
