We were suppose to cruise out of Galveston but Covid had other plans. Watching this video made us a little sad but hopeful for future travels.
Everything was going so well .... then seafood, lol. Most people are love it or hate it, and of course, if you hate it all the lovers out there are trying to sway you to love it. Not too many are "in the middle". My wife is the same way and luckily never forces it on us. Have fun, you deserve it.

Cute idea for a ring design. We did the same thing, using recycled diamonds and gold (old family rings and stones). Turned out great.

Yes, Galveston Beach, no comparison to ANY beach in Florida. Brown water and sand is very different!
Yep the sand at Galveston is more of a silt from the Brazos River than actual sand. Hope y’all are having fun though. It’s been really pleasant that past several days. Best from the H!

What a fun trip to a Gulf Coast beach with Luna. Glad you finally got some sun and were able to enjoy the rides. It's always surprising that the "wimpy" looking rides turn out to be much more exciting than expected.🤣. That's a neat way to choose an engagement ring. You miss all of the high pressure sales pitches that have always turned me off about jewelry stores. I miss going out for a good seafood meal. Your food looked delicious. 5:28 did the 400 foot one at six flags ne, not knowing it was a thrill ride, at the top it was super freaky but also so cool to have an amazing view, although it was night time.

Honestly not that much sand got in her paws, surprisingly! We just dried her paws off with a towel and she was good to go :)

No she was dry by the time we got back to the car, we just had to brush some sand off her paws and that was it!

Great video...that ride did look that scary but then again I don't do roller coasters..Galveston looks like it has more to do as far as rides and stuff like than than a lot of beaches in Florida but I still say Clearwater Beach is the best and you guys have to visit!!
I haven't been to Clearwater Beach yet but I think Eric has, we'll have to go together some time!
Look at Luna at the beach! :) She was skittish at first then she's like, let's hang 10! OMG as soon as you mentioned the Six Flags bust of a trip I was thinking the exact same thing! So glad you made up for it..despite the scary ride eeeek. Loved your skipping..so cute :) Haha I don't see any engagements in my future but was fun watching that challenge :)

It’s awesome seeing different parts of Texas, it’s not a state I know much about (I’m in Scotland). It looks beautiful, maybe one day my husband and I can visit the US and Texas.
I never did take my dog to the beach and its a regret for sure, good job on making sure she got to experience the beach. Wow that pier look quite similar to navy pier in Chicago that I have been to even if it was 2003. Those rides(even the ferris wheel) are a big Nooooo for me, lol. Eric can almost pass for Matthew Hurt on our(Duke) basketball team.

I've never been to any of the beaches down on the Gulf coast OR South Florida but I'd love to explore one of them someday 😃. Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought about going to Cape Cod, Nantucket, or Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts at all? I've never been to either of those places before but I've heard many great things about them from friends! Maybe a little too cold to go there at this time of year lol.
It was so fun getting to explore this beach for the first time with Luna!! & oooh yes I'd love to visit one fo those beaches, maybe when it's warmer though! lol
