Definitely recommend playing with a group using in game comms... The fear when comms gradually go quiet, or when you're talking with someone and they never respond
My first experiance with this game was getting stabbed to death by my crewmate, trapping that same crewmate outside the sub to be eaten by eldritch creatures, and being constantly wanted for theft. 10/10 And great video as always.
the barsuk stereotype is not a fiction, it is reality anyways, welcome to the europan seas, enjoy the waters! as a tip: manual piloting is faster for captains than maintain position clicks, just dont leave the console
@@lrdhsy A couple other tips, in that scenario where you got handcuffed, you can switch over to other ai crewmates whenever by clicking on the top left, or z and x keys. Plus manually moving the sub gives helm skill, meaning the engine takes less time to direct where you want it to go. The camel is argueably the best first sub upgrade, as it also has a med fab and is meant for transport missions, which are one of the fastest ways to make money. Moping jack was a single hammerhead... You encounter them in swarms later, but the real threat is the spineling swarms.
That thumbnail is the opposite of clickbait, like that amount of damage is negligible, just 1 anti radiation syringe and you're good, the only thing mildly dangerous is the radiation amount.
@@lrdhsy box office flop, classic among those who have watched it. People who like Lovecraftian horror really dig it, since they make references to cthulhu. "Europa One" is also a good one, this time in found footage though.
My first experience: What the fuck is that thing. HULL BROKEN. OXYGEN LEVELS SUB OPTIMAL. The AI crewmate representing my brother is huffing ALL the oxygen tanks. My dad is trying to fend off whatever the fuck is outside while suffocating at the weapon controls. I proceed to do repairs on the hull in a diving suit. Dad keels over. Jeffrey's huffing the emergency oxygen still. The reactor needs maintaining. I fucking electrocute and burn myself then proceed to sprain a bone because I didn't put the NUCLEAR reactor into maintenance mode. I grab the only gun, and all the bullets. I go up. The oxygen is back. But Jeffrey's still huffing 02 like a whippit fiend. So I unload the whole fucking thing directly in his head. Now I am a lone engineer, piloting, repairing, shooting at the things, and gradually losing piece by piece of my sanity, having aleady lost most of it on day one.
i cant bro everytime i think about barotrauma i think of criken2 and then i think of subrosa and then i think of subnautica so whenever i think of barotrauma i think of subnautica

That sounds terrifying
It's like Lethal Company, but if everyone always had built-in radios.
Yeah we made the Mistake playing with team speak on first playtrough. Ingame com is waaaaaaaaaay superior
I feel like if you don't have enough players to have one turn on the crew and destroy the ship your not playing the game right.

Good video and all, but piloting the sub as a mechanic is pretty funny.
