Frida's voice is heart rendingly beautiful, rich and mellow, and her vibrato is spectacular.
It will be there.. It is truly unbelievable.. I’ve been twice and still have no idea how this has been created.. You really have a connection with the abbatars and the experience is just mind blowing, sensory, emotional spiritual and mainly fun!!! Look forward to hear what you think when you get to see it ❤
Not sure when we will get there, but hopefully some day! I can't begin to imagine how much fun that would be! Husband and I went to a ABBA tribute show last year, they were NOT ABBA, but it was still fun! Cheers, Steve!

The reviews in the media about the 'Voyage' shows have used terms such as 'mind blowing' and jaw dropping'. Sometimes the experience doesn't match the hype. Not here. I've seen it six times now and the plaudits are fully deserved. Forget holograms and anything you've seen before. This is on a completely different level altogether. It's stunning.

ABBA has always been far a head of their time,with their music,production,arrangement,production,and now they prove that yet again with this digital tour that noone has ever did,building an arena just for this.Amazing is not a big enough word..

If you get a chance, go see this show, I went last Summer and it was spectacular, a unique experience. Try and get seats closer to the middle of the arena, it's especially mind blowing there

The story of the digital abbatars is the year 1979 which they picked, is shown in this marvelous video. It shows youth and then the chosen year. The song is magnificent and emotional. The show has had remarkable reviews and has changed how aged performers can keep their music out there in the concert world.
I have been a lifelong ABBA fan and loved your reaction to the new music and Voyage Show. I am very lucky and beyond excited as I have tickets for the 2nd night of the show in London next May which is also my birthday. Best present ever !! There will be a 10 piece band playing the music live on stage, the vocals will be from the original recordings and the Abbatars will interact with the band. Can't quite get my head around it but it's going to be awesome !!!

Until now two new ABBA songs have been known, both different in their themes and leading voices And both have the ABBA trademark on their solvency in musical composition and production
We know the great spirit of perfection that Björn and Benny impress on their creations, and both new creatures live up to their great successes of the 80s.
So the biggest mystery was to know the state of the voices of Agnetha and Frida and how they could react to the inevitable passing of the decades and their possible comparisons with previous classics.
And I must also say that they both look very good
And in that "look" there is an extraordinary job of caring for Björn and Benny to "take care" of their historical singers, partners and former partners. They gave them two wonderful songs, with beautiful melodies and deep lyrics, but they were also surrounded by the iconic hooks and the appeal to emotional nostalgia
"I still have faith in You" is an unpublished song in its conception in the history of ABBA
because it is self-referential about them as a group,
and it is also testimonial, because they tell us about their experiences in all this time
Musically it is a ballad with mystical and epic
A stately and majestic piano, and Frida's soft voice conducts and recreates ABBA's story with poignant beauty,
with Agnetha joining in some verses to emphasize
The sound of the drums arrives (a nod to the mega hit "Fernando") as if preparing the change of rhythm
And with a powerful guitar comes that first unpublished chorus, because this time all ABBA sings from the bowels of its history and with the strength of its testimony of life, of healing and togetherness.
And in the second chorus, even stronger, it becomes very clear that ABBA sings with the passion and courage that Björn's excellent lyrics stand out, it is like a triumphant song of their survival and their bond.
And it ends with a solo by Frida, flawless, with the flutes at the end
Also isn't a commercial song (more than 5 minutes) it's so emotional, with a fantastic vídeo of all greatest memories of pictures, official videos of 70s songs and Australia tour

I am apparently viewing this over a year later. If you have managed to visit London and the show then great! If you have not, I have been 5 times and am going again in November for my birthday😊 Like everyone else I think it is fantastic. The building, the lights, the sound and the "video" - for that is effectively what it is - are great. They are not holograms. Think of cartoon characters which move, act and look like ABBA. You see the group on a giant screen which takes up the whole of the stage and 2 other screens closer to the audience on which the individuals appear - as at a real modern concert. There are a few more examples of electronic wizardry but I will not spoil the surprise. ABBA Arena is probably the easiest place to get to in London! But book well in advance if you can as prices soar rapidly and there is no competition. I hope you found the above useful. I enjoyed your reaction.
