@dragonswingz it all depends on the tree. It's all about conservation. In my state, for every tree that is cut down, 2 more are planted. This means that down the road, we will have double the trees we began with, and when those get cut down, double of that. Trees offer energy a hell of a lot faster than fossil fuels which takes millions of years to develop in the earths crust

Reminds me of a Halloween party that a buddy of mine threw one year. We got a shit ton of old pallets from work, piled them up in his back yard, doused them in gasoline and lit it. As the evening progressed, we threw more and more pallets onto the fire. At one point, the phone rang and we all hear ..."Hey Steve, you alright over there?!" "Yeah, we're great, what's up?" "Well, I'm on I-94 right now, and I can see huge flames shooting up over the tree line from the general direction of your house." "Nah man, we're good, just having a party, come on over!"

Think of how many trees had to come down to make that fire, the fuel to cart them to the mills, fuel to take to pallet manufacturer, fuel to cart them to where they got them, fuel to get them there, fuel for clean up......go ahead and blast me about it but what a damn waste.
