@hattster1818 it's definitely both, I can flat foot a bike, but have to tippy toe dirt bikes with very skinny seats. I do have to tippy toe R6's which have wide seats
@@jaffabaffa The Fazer is more aerodynamic due to the fairing, the FZ1 is not and has less sporty ergonomics and crap suspension, as well as less ground clearence. The MT-10 with aftermarket rearsets is capable to keep pace on track where on the FZ1 you will struggle with the suspension and with the very small ground clearence - you even need to change the muffler, as it scrapes the ground. Having said that, the engine character of the FZ1 is completely different but in a straight line is as fast as an MT but the MT has more grunt (corner exit and accelerations)
I’ve had both, difficult to pick them apart, both retuned r1 engines in (2006 vs 2015) but both very capable in the right hands.
Nice wheelie beautiful roads love both bikes💯 love from UK 🇬🇧
I like both bikes. But I got the Mt10 because it has more leg room for a 6ft 1ins rider
Which one is more comfy for a 19stone guy at 5'8
Mt-10 more legroom and get the comfort seat
I'm 5'6. Ive had an FZ6R, ZX10R, and an FZ1, I can flat foot all of them, and the FZ's are so comfy uts stupid.
@@MoswenMediaim 5ft 7 and im on tiptoes on my fz1. Its not height that counts its inside leg and mines short.

Wich is faster?
MT by far
@@Na2gumiBlogspot really?is there a big difference with only 10hp?
Handling, suspension, chassis, brakes and power delivery make all the difference.
@@Na2gumiBlogspot You would say the FZ1 is more aerodynamic, and has more sporty ergonomics. Correct?

That was an fz6. Dual underseat exhaust is how you can tell
It’s FZ1
Theres no undertail exhaust..
@@MJT-DA Yes there is on the FZ6
@@nutbuttersammich on the fz6 but not in this video
@@MJT-DA I got the FZ8 with a Shark Slip-On and I really miss the double exhaust from the FZ6 🥲
I pass you every moments, every corner with fz6 yamaha. Fortunately you ride 1000. Keep on going!!
