    I carry this piece. I've seen people say they wouldn't carry this as a primary weapon. I have to agree. My primary weapon isn't a Glock, or S&W. It's my brain. If you use situational awareness to keep you out of situations before you have to use deadly force. This little cannon is fine.

      I usually carry a uspc .45 and sw shield performance center 9mm but lately this and an old beretta model 418 made the cut for me..at least for morning walks and whatnot. Just about building confidence. You can drop 3-4 hostiles with this with the proper skills. And if you can't stop one attacker with this you're fucked anyway lol.
      That said my favorite carry combo is this and the hk uspc with either novx ARX polycase rounds or heavy 230 grain +p, and buffalo bore or Hornady
      .357 again. In heavier grain if possible though currently I got lighter rounds in it

    Thanks for your review. I'm fond of heavier 357 magnum revolvers and it's great to see a blued finish. My first handgun was a Colt Trooper 357. I've been looking for a 6 cylinder snubby in 357 and this is perfect!
    Also, glad you mentioned securing the crane lockdown screw. I removed it and used some Blue Locktight thread locker to keep it from backing out.

    👍 review. You are correct in the pronunciation. The gun is made in Germany where "W" is pronounced as we do "V". The word windicator has no meaning in english, but vindicator means a person who clears someone from blame, e.g. takes them out of harms way. 😁🇺🇸

    This is my primary carry, I had a hand injury once that set me back about 3 weeks for recovery. I couldn’t pull the slide on any of my semi autos. Which had me thinking, If i have an injured limb or hand i can shoot this with either hand. In my experience shooting it…no feeding problems, no dealing with clip issues and it fires every time. I’m a small person , small hands and i’ve had zero issues with recoil in 158g .357. And I’m not ashamed to say , but I’m more accurate than any of my semi auto slide guns. But since it’s a snub nose, I keep my hands free of the sides of it. Made in Germany…it’s a great gun

    The EAA .357 is a fine home defense piece, especially with a backup pistol. Reliability, good ammo, and the first 3-5 shots are most crucial, while grabbing a pistol is faster than reloading.

    Have you tried any +p ammo in it? The reason I ask is because the manual says not to use it but I don't understand why. I mean, doesn't the 357 have a ton more pressure, etc? Surely this gun can handle +p... right? Or is there some other reason they say not to use it?

    • @CitizenCarry
      @CitizenCarry  3 года назад

      I have no idea why it’d say that. It’s true, .357 is lots more powerful. I have shot Buffalo bore 38 Spc. +p. and though that’s a really hot one, it wasn’t even close to standard .357.

    • @101perspective
      @101perspective 3 года назад +1

      @@CitizenCarry Thanks for the reply. So, you have shot +p in this gun?
      With my limited knowledge, the only reason I could think of was that maybe the +p would cause cylinder fouling a lot quicker.
      Btw, the reason I was asking was because +p was all I could find in my area that wasn't reloaded ammo. The reloaded is fine for target practice but I wanted some ammo to keep in the gun for real world emergencies... which hopefully will be never. I suspect I will be fine with the +p as long as I don't start firing off hundreds of rounds of it on the range.
      Thanks again for the reply.

      @@101perspective. It's a standard maual for both 38, and 357. The 38 has an alloy frame, and the 357 is all steel. They don't reccomend using +P with the 38 because of the alloy frame. +P is obviously fine through the 357 all steel rendition of the 38 special.
