My understanding that there were 3 Pictish Kings NECTAN !,2 and 3,. THE PICTS REFERED TO THEIR NAME AS CALLED BY THE SCOTS WAS NA CRUITHNE(THE PEOPLE???)There has been some speculation of connection to The SCYTHIANS from originally THE ALTAI MOUNTAINS in Southern Siberia, that had no settlements, a warlike people on the move, they also wore colourful patterned clothes not dis-similar to tartan, around 1 B.C.and travelled westward via the Pontif Steppe(Black Sea) where did they end up?? ONLY 200 years ago the highland people, lived similar lives. SPECULATION who knows!?
