Great effort mate. Love this place. Used to be a brilliant Free festival here which was one of my first. Spent a month in that field surrounded by riot polis back in 96 when they shut it down. The people of the church were great and would regularly bring urns of soup up to the site for everyone.
I really liked the music you composed for this. It sounds like the kind of thing you'd hear at the start of an epic quest. I'll need to pitch my idea for a SPiS RPG to you at some point.
There's supposed to be a documented paranormal case from the 1950's of a lady and a broken down car one cold January. I'd like to find out more about it. She went wandering, exhaustion got to her and in her disorientated state she saw a lochan and many people with reed torches in funny clothes milling around, apparently searching. She had no idea what she saw, but she was connected enough that she was pretty well examined and it was concluded that she saw the aftermath of the battle. The mere had long dried up, which is a major point in tracing anything, but it occasionally reforms in very wet spells and did so again few years later on (I'm guessing the spring of 1963 .
First time I met a raving vicar was there...and tried some "enhanced" wallpaper((was dipped in a psychedelic substance lol))happy memories and a very interesting and historic place...love it

The story is incredibly fascinating, but I was also looking for someone to play the strathspey by that name.
Great SPiS! Jam packed with lots of historical facts!
