    • @RandomThings911
      @RandomThings911 6 лет назад

      not really. everyone was just staging in their rigs. first on scene just goes into the office, the office tells them location of alarm pulled, and the office would know if there is an actual fire on campus by fd arrival.

      Hey.. You never know. We typically send an engine, a truck, and sometimes our other engine, because you never know what is till you get there. Better to be overprepared than not ready for something. As a result we have built up a reputation for being top notch in our area

      Look at the size of that building they have to search for a fire, it is safer for everybody to have all those crews there to perform a faster search and of there was a fire they found it faster then just having 1-2 crews there searching for it

      I know, right? Hell if our dept did that, we'd never have a rig in quarters or in service, ever. That's a one rig response for us, unless some other circumstances present themselves (water flow alarms, smell of smoke, outside callers, multiple alarms in the building, etc.) But if that's how they do it, then so be it. Better safe than sorry.

      suffer247 agreed. In Orlando or Orange County, FL, the most you would see for a non-residential AFA was an engine, truck, and BC.
