Has Canton become miles of new junk like Warrenton? Is there much vintage there any more or do you have to sift through a ton of cutesy lacy blinged-up clothes and HomeGoods products?

Hi! I've been to Warrenton just once and that was this past Antiques Week in the Spring. So, I have just one visit there to reference. I thought Warrenton had some good booths, but mixed in was regular stuff, clothing booths, etc. I found Warrenton to be the area of Round Top that is most like Canton, however I still prefer Canton by far! The busiest months of the year in Canton (Oct, Nov, Dec, March, April, May) will bring in the most junk/antique/vintage vendors. That would be the your best bet for the most variety. What kinds of things are you hunting for? That may help me to know if Canton has what you are looking for and if so, best areas to look in for that.

New to your channel, hoping to make a trip in 2024, can you tell me if there’s a specific wholesale area?

Great Canton info! Is there a specific area you would suggest a vendor to look into? I’ve been doing vendor events and am thinking about selling in Canton. Is there an area you recommend to a vendor? So overwhelming when looking at all the spots to choose from. 😅

@@thecantonjunkie Thanks for the reply! Handmade Wooden Decor pieces for the most part such as wooden porch signs, Door Hangers. We also fill with smaller wooden laser engraved items like magnets, small wooden home decor pieces, decorative cutting boards, keychains, etc.

Now, I’ve never been a vendor in canton but I will say some of the most popular places to shop new items are the Arbors, pavilion 1&2, and Pavilion 4000 and 4500., and Trade center 4. Some vendors hop around to find the best spot for them. Good luck!!!!

I’ve got maps and details on my Instagram page if you haven’t already checked that out. You’ll want to focus on Antique Alley, Civic Center, Famous Vendor Fields, Pavilion 6000, Pavilion 6500, Dixie House, Dixie Lofts and the Lewis Unreserved Field, and across the grounds is Mistress of Junk.
Row 46 has mixed vendors but some good antique/vintage ones are in there.
