I like the X-Men, but what about the fact that all members of the Avengers are a mixture of humans, mutants, mutates, aliens, robots, deities and more? Or the fact they slowly grow as ppl along with being flawed but sympathetic and genuinely good guys who risk their lives to save others? Also, while I do like Professor X, Cap is less likely to act outright jerkish or manipulate his fellow members, and the parts where he inhaled ICE and his Ultimates counterpart do not count. Also, in comparison, The Avengers are less likely to get easily corrupted by their own flaws to evil, and brainwashing does not count.

The highest selling comics in 2007 were Captain America followed by Civil War, Civil War again, Thor, The Dark Tower and World War Hulk. A year almost completely dominated by Avengers characters and most of Marvel's big event stories around this time period mainly revolved around the Avengers and sold very well. The only people who think the Avengers couldn't sell comics before the MCU are idiots who never read comics to begin with.

I think that X-Men when just about overall any subject you can think of in my personal opinion X-Men's always been the best they've had to overcome more personal trials and tribulations they've had to overcome a group dynamics to work together friends being killed then and they still take the high road for the most part as where the avengers just not that interesting and there are some really good characters in The avengers but overall I think X-Men when's it plus the cinematic Universe in my opinion fucked up a lot of shit on the avengers however they at least kept most of the stuff correct for X-Men

Plus, the changes people didn't agree with, they managed to rectify and in a very logical way (i.e. the whole Mandarin thing in Iron Man 3). And you think the X-Men movies didn't change things? Buddy, I've got a friend who's a big X-Men fan that could give you a rundown on just what was changed, and not just the obvious stuff like the New X-Men becoming the original X-Men, Rogue going from a badass in the comics and cartoon to a pussy-ass bitch in the movies, and the many, MANY inconsistencies in the plot. To me, the X-Men movies got better with First Class, but that's not saying much as even the more terrible of the Avengers movies are still salvageable and offer a little something (though admittedly, I skipped out on Captain Marvel). That said though, I am looking forward to Dark Phoenix this year, but ain't no way in the Seven Hells that movie is going to live up to what Avengers: Endgame did.

But these past years I got into Avengers and now I'm into the marvel movies. But I always knew deep down that X-Men will win in a fight vs Avenger's. You know, I always wanted comic book accuracy. But I've now accepted that there are many ways to tell a story, and it's ok if it's not fully accurate. And MCU in terms of accuracy is worse. Civil War is nothing like the comic. And since the movie was *great*, I think it's too early to make it again

@Zlatan Superman ain't the most powerful member of the Justice League. He's the most overrated lol. And Dr Strange could probably snap his fingers and drain Clark of his energy. In fact the Avengers have a shit ton of energy absorbing characters who could depower Clark fairly easily. Superman is tough but he has a source of power which many characters can easily manipulate.
I think in a fight, x men is more coordinated. They have the danger room and train constantly together. Avengers are more individuals in a team. Xmen have many wide variety of abilities that make each of them play an important part in combat. Avengers ability doesn't compliment each other as well as X-Men. Verdict: If its a team fight, i give it to x men. If it's a 1v1 i give it to avengers.

I'd say X-Men have better heroes as well. Avengers has too many reskin like heroes (like Sentry just seems like a more OP Thor but just isn't a God of thunder.) And while Avengers have more power house heroes/tanks, they aren't that unique, as half of them are just super strength. X-Men has a higher contrast of heroes

I think that X-Men when just about overall any subject you can think of in my personal opinion X-Men's always been the best they've had to overcome more personal trials and tribulations they've had to overcome a group dynamics to work together friends being killed then and they still take the high road for the most part as where the avengers just not that interesting and there are some really good characters in The avengers but overall I think X-Men when's it plus the cinematic Universe in my opinion fucked up a lot of shit on the avengers however they at least kept most of the stuff correct for X-Men

Plus, the changes people didn't agree with, they managed to rectify and in a very logical way (i.e. the whole Mandarin thing in Iron Man 3). And you think the X-Men movies didn't change things? Buddy, I've got a friend who's a big X-Men fan that could give you a rundown on just what was changed, and not just the obvious stuff like the New X-Men becoming the original X-Men, Rogue going from a badass in the comics and cartoon to a pussy-ass bitch in the movies, and the many, MANY inconsistencies in the plot. To me, the X-Men movies got better with First Class, but that's not saying much as even the more terrible of the Avengers movies are still salvageable and offer a little something (though admittedly, I skipped out on Captain Marvel). That said though, I am looking forward to Dark Phoenix this year, but ain't no way in the Seven Hells that movie is going to live up to what Avengers: Endgame did.
Xmen is the one who popularize marvel since 90's i do have a lot of text cards and i was kinda amazed and excited about the characters.. When u talk about marvel heroes xmen is the one comes to mind, also xmen is a very popular comics before i never even read an avengers comics its a vast universe an xmen universe.. Very nostalgic.

The Avengers are only popular now because Marvel's business in the 90s was garbage while the X-Men were majorly popular... then sold off the X-Men to the point Disney refuses to compete with Fox over profiting from the X-Men. You know, I always wanted comic book accuracy. But I've now accepted that there are many ways to tell a story, and it's ok if it's not fully accurate. And MCU in terms of accuracy is worse. Civil War is nothing like the comic. And since the movie was *great*, I think it's too early to make it again

@Zlatan Superman ain't the most powerful member of the Justice League. He's the most overrated lol. And Dr Strange could probably snap his fingers and drain Clark of his energy. In fact the Avengers have a shit ton of energy absorbing characters who could depower Clark fairly easily. Superman is tough but he has a source of power which many characters can easily manipulate.

I think in a fight, x men is more coordinated. They have the danger room and train constantly together. Avengers are more individuals in a team. Xmen have many wide variety of abilities that make each of them play an important part in combat. Avengers ability doesn't compliment each other as well as X-Men.
Verdict: If its a team fight, i give it to x men.
If it's a 1v1 i give it to avengers.
