Which bike would you say revs faster and feels more aggressive to ride, the 250xcw or the 300xcw? I want the tractability in low rpm’s, but I also still wanna be able to ride it more aggressively on the single track and GNCC.
@@ShiftGearsMoto awesome, thank you! I’m used to a somewhat softer mapped TPI 300xc. I say somewhat mapped, it’s just mapped to make it rideable in the trails, when it was hot mapped, it would let you loop it in 1st through 5th gear lol. so Im hoping the 250 would give me the suspension I want, with a manageable yet exciting top end.
Just get the 300 xcw and ride it with the clutch. Want tractor roll on the throttle, want install high rev'ing power feather the clutch twist the throttle and dump it. I find the 250 to feel weak against a 300.
Did you notice much difference in gear spacing on the XCW vs XC bikes? I used to ride XCW but hated the big gap from 2nd to 3rd. Apparently it’s not as much on the newer bikes?
@@mschumaker1 I've been on my XCW for 3 years now and I'll probably go XC next time for the linkage. I'll definitely miss the computer. I seem to just break the headlights 🤣
It's incredibly good. 350 power and the bike pulls so nicely. Really good race platform out of the box. You'd probably want to do some re-valving of the suspension if you were thinking more of a trail bike.
@@neodirtriders I'm just 250 xcf all day haha bc that video was the best thing I've seen of the xcf ngl and i like the xcf bc you can use it for moto and off-road
Did you try all the gears or just first.
Do you like this bike more then the 250xcf?
Were you over revving for the camera, or just that’s your thing? So many revs, so little speed
Just for you, actually.
agree. The over revving makes the bike sound gutless & squirrely. (maybe just not used to 250 st)
@@learningtofly6804 assuming you don't ride a 2 stroke. Keep the revs high in the power band.
Shift the bike up a gear already!
Did you get a chance to ride the ‘24 250XC ? Thanks for the reviews 👍🏼👍🏼
No, but I did ride the 300 XC. Same bike.

If you want more low end power, go with the 300, if you want a faster, high revving bike, go with the 250.

If you go with the 250, look into a more aggressive map and replacing the head with a RK TEK or similar product. Makes a big difference!

Gears 1-3 are different and 4-6 are the same as the XC. 1st gear is incredibly short on the XCW and essentially worthless unless you're stuck.
@@ShiftGearsMoto thanks, I've been riding XC bikes for last 4 years now. I do miss the factory computer and lights tho

@@ShiftGearsMoto gear boxes are the same on the 23+ XC’s and 24+ XCW’s 2 strokes. Final drive is different.
Whats your thoughts on the 250 xcf?

Hantal bi motor belli
