I have always liked this show. I mostly like the details about the vin codes and what it takes to make one just like it came from the factory. Thats a lot harder than a resto mod. Im not one of the dodge boys but I like them just like the rest of the cars from my day.

Lets stay focused on the cars and drop the drama I thought this was a beauty shop full of old ladies with a hint of an old Mopar in the background. Mark is smug and works too hard at being cool. Being cool comes natural either you have it or you don't. Mark you don't have it so stop trying so hard it's making you look very uncool. On the other hand Mark you have an amazing passion and knowledge for Mopars so why not focus on that as I value your ability and knowledge. Thanks for giving these unwanted cars a new life and I look forward to the show improving.

Streamline Builds really..? Dodge had some of the WORST build quality in the industry. And you’re right, if it’s a resto, then there should be basically no tape because it’s a bare body. However, if the jambs and door inners are sprayed already then hung on the car before the colour coat, there’s nothing wrong with that, that’s what the foam is for, plus if you’re spraying metallics, it ensures that the metallics are sprayed out evenly across the whole side, rather than spray them off. Hard lines like stripes or decals are a fact of life, or load up the clear and buff.

Mark makes this video really hard to watch
the way you dont ever include your wife mark even at the wedding of your daughter is very strange dude, your very funny but this drama gets old. we're suppose to be car guys not drama queens. you know your mopars and i respect that but all the other hype gets old.

Well, if Ford hadn't done the retro mustang reboot, no one else would've done it either. Ford and Chrysler are the only ones who actually stuck to the retro modern look, whereas everyone else just made a completely different vehicle and used an old name. Well, the Chevy Camaro would fit in with a retro come back, but it wasn't as popular. The BMW Z4 with a Toyota Supra badge was at the top of the worst come backs, until the 2023 Toyota "Crown" was just released! Looks more like a redesigned Camry that mated with a Tesla! There is absolutely nothing about it that would make you think "Hey! That's a modern Toyota Crown!" unless you look at the "crown" emblem across the ass end. 🙄🙄
Id be the proudest man in the world to be able to call this man Dad,not cause of the daughter but ,to be part of this man's life.Think the son in law has no idea of what he has been blessed with, and that's a little sad.

What's Darren's purpose
I came across a car from Grand Spaulding Dodge 1970 Challenger the first part of the VIN is bs23 UOB it was sold at Grand Spaulding Dodge back in 1970it was a special ordered car with the build sheet still intact along with the fender tag matching numbers engine I'm only thirty-seven thousand miles the other car belong have the original titlethe person that bought the car brand new sold it to his best friend in 1978 and then was killed his best friend then has owned the car for the last 45 years and is never seen daylight until 2018 at which time I've come across the carhis best friend to try to do his own body work and no repairs on the car but did a pretty poor job but the cards are still retain all its original parts all its original interior and all most part down to the original we just need some advice on how to restore this car thank you
William Douglass advise..? They’re only new once.. so it would be considered a survivor, if some body work has been done, and poorly, it will kill the look and the value. Have a quality job done to remove all the trim and lights mouldings etc to do a proper paint job.. and spend the money. Spend the money in the right places. If your friend has the resources to go further, go for a full restoration. But with 37,000 miles, and garage kept, sounds like it just needs refreshing. Reputable shop that does older cars and restorations. Check out references first, and make sure there is a contract in writing with a timeline. Body shops lose parts or take forever if you let em. Check out the shop... clean, organized? How do the store parts taken off the car? And be sure they reuse the original fasteners. If they take stuff off and throw it in a can. Run! Lol. Good luck. @@northface484 it was a 340 powered duster i think , mark had it running out side for the first time and it was knocking they had to pull it back out and this was about the same time Darin stopped being on the show , mark didn't name him but it was implied that he must of done it

Please.. just stick to the facts, explain what car you have going on, why it’s special, etc.. but STOP trying to be a funny guy... you’re not that guy.. and a little humility. Less cockiness. He’s joking with them, it’s shop humor. Go to any shop that’s how the humor is. I’m a diesel tech and it’s really like that all the time in the shop. It’s a brotherhood you have to experience it and understand that everyone likes and cares for everyone and it’s all in good fun. You can tell when someone is really upset.
I take it you never worked at a shop or hung around one cause that’s how people are at places like this ,always joking around and messing with the other people that work there
