  • In June 2020, I woke up and to my horror, I couldn't move my face. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. Find out what I did to recover and what I learned from the experience.
I recommended the channel ‪@HealthQchannel‬ for the best facial paralysis exercises, facial massage and lots of info about Bell's Palsy.

I am so glad that you stayed strong and got through this Venus you are a warrior. My lady she woke up last summer I was at her place. She always gives me a little kiss in the morning. Instead she said something is wrong. I asked her how are you feeling please tell me. She asked me -am I smiling ? I remember it was like part of her face wasn't working because she was not exactly smiling. I was afraid too because I don't want her sick, upset, or anything wrong with her at all. My guess was maybe she is not fully awake. I said let's go shower, make coffee, and cook breakfast. So we are having coffee she was having a hard time drinking coffee and got really upset and said what is going on with my face ? I said I don't know let's get you to your doctor's office. I took her there and they gave her medicine and a neurologist told her do face exercises. I had never heard of Bells Palsy ever so when they said basically they weren't sure maybe her face will get better it was so hard for her and myself to hear that. After two weeks she got better and came out of it thankfully. You know I wouldn't have thought about those pillows being a problem. I am going to ask her if she still has one of those pillows in her giant collection of pillows tonight and if so take her pillow shopping. Thank you so much Venus.

wow, I'm so glad she recovered. And 2 weeks is pretty quick. mine was almost a month, but after 2 weeks i was almost normal. It's very traumatic. it can be from cold, the pillow was very cold. but experts don't really know. i was so happy to be able to smile again!

sorry if this is too personal to ask but given your profession have you had any negative reactions to it from medical professionals? if so, how have you dealt with it in the past?

never. In fact, the opposite is true. They ask for recommendations.
