I'm actually kind of weirdly proud of this kid? This thing clearly took a lot of time and dedication on his behalf, and the ability to finish what you've started is a really underrated skill in creative projects. I hope he keeps his passion for making videos at any rate.

To be fair, this kid has some serious skill to be doing this kind of editing and animation. I assume he was, like, 13 at around this time so seeing him effectively use masking and overlaying animated characters on live action WITH SHADING

Clearly he didn't have much experience with video editing, acting, etc. I don't see a shitty video, what I see is an inexperienced kid having fun by creating a RUclips video. It reminded me of Season 1 of Richalvarez's Stupid Mario Bros and Season 1 of SuperMarioLogan's Mario & Luigi's Stupid & Dumb Adventures. They had bad editing, poor acting, etc but what they did have were great and creative stories that built up over time along with better acting, and editing.
