I mean... That's exactly what many (and I mean it) hardcore/uptempo producers do, like me. There's no secrets to that, there's no secret plugins that will make it better, there's no multi layering, it's just eq-distort. Just choose a kick drum, eq and distort it properly, choose the right key and done, just like that. I use many styles and experiment, that's what you need to do. One of my ways goes like this: Fruity reverb 2 (turn off wet) Tal 2 filter (for proper sound, look for equal2's newest video) Eq Distort Repeat eq and distort And that's all. It's all about experimenting and trial and error!
it’s straight forward if you want a generic hardstyle kick. if you want some thing unique, experiment yourself! that’s what producing is about; trial and error
@ BLOODLUST I’m trying to make a Noisecontrollers So High kick from eq and distorting a 909 from Drumazon. Is it possible to get the crunchy tail sound from just that single layer? Because I haven’t achieved it yet. Or do all producers layer their tails with multiple tails? I’m new and not sure the process.
@@Bloodlustdj but how ? How do you get some stereo in there, sub etc ? Lots of post processing eq's and such ? I'm not calling you out I'm just curious how you can get a nice kick without any kind of layering
@@lepureur4657 if you EQ and distort it right you get great low end and great crunch. I add some wideness by giving a sidechain reverb on the punch of the kick. All I do is make a 1 layer punch and a 1 layer tail. I Combine them and then your done. Tip. dont add like 8 distortions and other crazy FX. My Tail chain looks like this: 1EQ, 1Distortion, 1Eq ,1distortion, 1EQ and 1Limiter. The most important is your EQing! you should play with the eq's until it sounds good and dont stop before it does! don't do stupid shit and keep adding more and more FX because it will get super messy and hard to control the sound!
@@Bloodlustdj i just think it's easier to focus on each different layer, it seems like getting the right chain like you do would take a long time, but i'll try if you say you manage to get good results ^^ thank you
@@Bloodlustdjdo you distort a 909 and get the punch and tail sounding good together as 1 layer? or do you sound design seperate layers for the punch and tail and then blend them together?
I can't believe the guy that screams on stage with face mask on is so calm 😂😂
