I'm going to do this with the flowers of my wedding bouquet. and no, I'm not even engaged.
Literally same lol, it was the first thing I thought of
Thats actually a great idea !
Imagine throwing that resin convered bouquet behind you though-
@@julien4305 Omg this comment made laugh
Hahah i just thought the SAME (。♡‿♡。)
That's the prettiest potential murder weapon I've ever seen. Seriously.
Hilarious...your comment made me laugh uncontrollably!!! 🤣
They were bludgeoned to death with a huge blunt heavy object and now have glitter implanted in their skull .. hmm what could it be lmao
Ha Ha. I love how you think.
I thought the same thing
😆
"look what you've done to my peonies!"
"they're marigolds!"
One of my friends references that all the time hahaha
@@ArtsyMadwoman what type of resin did you use??? I’m trying to do this for my cousins bridal bouquet and never worked with resin before! Epoxy? Polyester? She also lives in Florida so I’m worried about UV light discoloring the project (I’m making it in Pennsylvania and it’s freezing here!)
I can only imagine in 1000 years from now an archeologist finding this and placing it in a museum somewhere as a fossil 😍😍😍😍
i screamed when you gave us zoom in clips😭the glitter was just *chef’s kiss* it felt magical to SEE
this is a youtube genre I didn't know existed but I'm so glad this was recommended to me! I was recently recommended some soap making videos and became obsessed and I think that's what led me to this. so beautiful! now I'm off to watch every one of your videos lol
Sarah agreed! Nice escape from the vanity of some parts of RUclips
@@MuffinTin36 yes totally. Love those artists and people who just show us skills or some sorts. It goes from painting, how to roast a chicken, cut your hair or resin flowers 💐
Same!! Was it Royalty Soaps?
You should check out relaxing glass making vids oml so satisfying
She Thiccccc! Bloody stunning Heather, i love it!
My morbid mind: "...A (dead) bumblebee would look nice in there..."
ive collected bublbees thay have naturally died they look amazing !!
I don’t think that’s all that morbid, assuming you found it dead. Casting it in a piece of art is like giving it a second life.
Thank you. I’m going to try to do my granddaughter’s bridal shower flowers! This was the best video I’ve seen
Heather can you figure out how to dry lilacs, I’ve failed many, many times with microfluer and silica and I need your help. Girl I love your positive attitude and you always brighten my day. Your last Peony mold is my favorite too....it was spectacular and breathtaking. I have watched every one of your RUclips’s and can’t wait for every vid you post! I adore you... you are so sweet and honest with followers. I hope you are logging everything down, you should be publishing a book, seriously! You have such a bright future ahead of you!
Me: Water is so beautiful ah if only it can solidify without melting so I can display it
Heather: hold my resin!
Here I go buying stuff to do this as presents now. Thank you for this omg I can't wait
Finally someone who has restraint with glitter. This is blooming beautiful xxx
That magical glitter crystal pond makes me feel hydrated. Omg so good. Congratulations on another masterpiece! ✨ Also F yes with the makeup.
I think my factor post is how the branches/stems interact with the flowers and glitter in the piece.
Also, love the realness of your videos too. Leaving in the mistakes and adding the corrections in text. It's so familiar a thing that I appreciate you doing so. 💜
Thank you so much!! I try to be 100% myself here so I’m happy to hear that you appreciate it! Thank you!❤️
You are the best. I always wanted to dry a peony and then resin it. Thank you so MUCH!!
Idk if it's ever been mentioned. But you should look into trying like a sand sifter, like you'd use at the beach, on the silica. Like put that at the bottom then the silica. That way when you go to grab the flowers, all you have to do is grab that and soft them out. Less possible breakage?
This is genius! You can even tie strings to the sifter to get it out if the tub is deep like the one in this vid so you don’t disturb any petals
🤯
I just started watching you yesterday.Wow!Your work is amazing! I had a close friend pass and her funeral was Monday. I took some of the flowers from the arrangements to try and press them for me and other friends. Some how I found your video an totally got inspired. I purchased some resin and a silicone heart shape cupcake mold. i hope these flowers work so I can give them to some of her other close friends.I did try the microwave drying and it was okay until I saw the 3d peony today. Well you guessed it, tomorrow back to hobby lobby for the silica gel. They had it marked down too. If these come out beautiful,I have you to thank and I'm sure my friends will be so grateful to receive a beautiful memorabilia of our friend. TY and many Blessings!
Aww! I’m so sorry for your loss. That’s such a beautiful idea though! If you’re working with peonies, I would definitely suggesting drying them in silica gel. I don’t know if they’d do well being flattened out just because they’re so thick. They have a lot of moisture. I hope they come out beautifully! ❤️
wow you are lucky that u live in a area that has a craft store open. I'm in NJ n still on lockdown. I cant wait to go to the craft stores.
Meli mel ikr....I’m having craft store withdrawals
So sorry for your loss. Did the flowers turn out nicely?
@@jessicastanley1817 Most of them did come out okay. TY for your concern.
Whomever disliked this video should leave. This is a wonderful piece of artwork, no need for some negativity.
Bubblegum Princess honestly I’m am so sick of negative people it’s like they search just to be mean !!!! What upsets me the most they never stop following !!!
@@kimpaynter Well even the negativity helps her they view her video he follower count still goes up and if she just ignores it they aren't hurting her
they must be really idiot to dislike this awesome piece of art
Kim Paynter so ss cc
Agree, she is so awesome, nice, perky and cool. She is only trying to show people how to do something and believe me, I have an adult coloring channel and I KNOW how hard it is to make a video like she does, all the editing involved and everything else. So whoever did that is a RUDE person. If you don't like something why did you even watch. No ROOM for negativity in these times.
WOW If I was getting married, I would absolutely love a piece like that!
I was just thinking that!
Hello from Dallas. So, I’m all set to binge watch tonight. My husband goes to bed about 9:00. It gives me a couple of hours to myself. The dogs sleep on my lap and stay quiet. Got some Green Apple vodka. I’m all set for ya Madwoman!
GORGEOUS! It would be amazing to have an even larger diameter version of this as a cake stand (maybe not as thick) with your wedding bouquet in it for the reception cake 😍
But it takes days to make, Maybe for your anniversary!
Rachel Fisk Art oh yeah definitely would take a while for the actual bouquet to be used 😅. I was thinking more on the lines of using a copy of the same flower arrangement for the stand, not the actual bouquet. To tie it all in at the reception, you know? Sorry if I'm not making sense 😂.
this made me love bouquets dont feel like its a waste of money no more
Somehow I think that the price of resin is going to make you reconsider.
another beautiful piece. I am loving it. Girl you are on it to day. I just love your work
Thank you for existing. Your videos make my life shinier. :) ty
Such a beautiful piece. It looks big enough that it might be a good end table.
This looks like it would be a good statement piece in a rich woman's livingroom :D I imagined it in front of a huge mirror .
Betül Çimenay I imagined a mirror as well, with gold frame.
That is completely INSANE....... I Love It!!!!!!
This is literally the prettiest thing I've ever seen
SO glad i found this, i'm DEFINITELY hoping to do this with my wedding bouquet next year!
Same. Thinking about ordering a sample smaller bouquet (like bridesmaids size) and practice so the true wedding bouquet doesn’t get messed up from being a first attempt.
Kayla, be sure to try a few pieces before you do the wedding bouquet. There are things you learn only by doing, not just by watching someone. I wish you a successful piece and a long and happy marriage!
I’m not sure how I ended up here. But I’m so glad I did.! Your pieces are so beautiful.!
I'm so happy watching you 😁 I can't stop laughing and smiling, it's like I'm in the room with you. All your skills are amazing. And your video presenting skills!!! You're so cool 🥰🇬🇧
that peony is GORGEOUS! look at all those frilly petals!
Guuurl!!!!! It's incredibly beautiful! Also, thank you so much for the"flooding" tip. I've been wanting to try a more 3D flower casting and I probably would've just smooshed it in to a pool of resin and ended up with air pockets..... Well done, love your videos!!!!
This is so cool, I might do this with my own bridal flowers or something special I would like to preserve this is such a good idea. 💗
I dont even remember my wedding bouquet . But I do remember the divorse in 2011 . It was so nice
I'm absolutely using this to save my wedding bouquet in a couple months
That is absolutely incredible! I also loved the tulip piece, what a great idea to do the fill first then the mold. You do such beautiful work 💖
Thank you soo much! & yeah I still got a bit of an air pocket but it’s better than in the very center of the flower! Thank you so much! ❤️
@@ArtsyMadwoman which resin do you use the hard cast or the other
Idk why this was recommended to me but seriously I'm so happy I found your channel! Also you're like the prettiest flower in the whole video 😊
wow more than 3 litlres of resin!!!
And such a perfect clean result. AWESOME!
That is absolutely gorgeous keep up the good work
ohhh my gosh tell me how i can attach legs to it after i recreate this and make a side tAAAAAABLE I LOVE IT
Maybe clear resin legs will work?
@@antyxenophobia3044 or rose gold/gold coloured ones 😊
@@ven7ce510 that will be awesome
I bought legs for a stool on Amazon. They probably have tables legs too
I recommend you watch evanandkatelyn specifically ruclips.net/video/9wnJUD0JkiA/видео.html to make barstools but you could adapt it to this situation for a small end table maybe?
This is amazing!!!!!! Your amazing at this! I think sometime soon i will be starting resin, and your super inspiring! Keep up the amazing amazing work!!!
Yayyy!! That makes me so happy! & thank you soo much! ❤️❤️❤️
Stunning. The most beautiful thing EVER. 🥰🥰🥰
That pink flower is ginormous! 😁
This is stunning! You mentioned top coating the round mould, I'd love to see how you do that. My sphere topcoat was a disaster when I tried 😭
You are AMAZING!!! I love how you go for it and aren’t intimidated to try new projects. And guuuurl, this was a huge project! It’s gorgeous! Wow.
Omg girl I just want to say thank you so much for you videos... With them I made my niece a keep sake of her daughter that passed away
I'll send a picture to your insta
This was amazing... Thanks for all your tips. I'm a total Newbie and you are such a good teacher.
When you make an epic piece like this it’s far too nice to be left as an ornament you need to start sanding the bottom how it stands getting your husband to make a wooden stand and fit some LEDs so it makes a gorgeous night light this would make your work 1 billion times brighter 👑🤭😚
Have you ever tried including pearls or photos, etc? I'm thinking of 'Memory Casts' if you know what I mean. Tiny books, eye glasses, pocket watch.... etc? I've done 'Memory Shadowboxes' and rather than using the exact momentos, I will use something similar. Just wondered if you'd ever thought of that.
So pretty, I kinda like the bubbles, I know most people don't but I like the bubbles in the little one.✌🏽💙
You keep saying you are babbling, girl you are not! It's so informative and attention to detail. Thank you so much!
🌸🌸🌸 Wednesdays are my favorite 😌 thank you for the much needed happiness you bring into my life✨
My nails look pretty much identical to yours in my videos right now 😂 your girl ain’t got no time for nails.
And holy big mamma...that thing is gorgeous 😍😍 it pains me to think about how much the resin alone would cost but peonies are to die for. Are you going to keep it??
Awwww!! My heart! 😭❤️Thank you soo much! & yes I think I am going to keep it only because I have more plans for it 😜
Artsy Madwoman can’t wait to see your plans😁 id be really interested in seeing how you made your big sphere. I’ve been making smaller orbs and my big 4” mold is coming today. I get a lot of bubbles even when doing smaller pours and keeping my resin warm🤔 and then I end up having to top coat it which is a pain in the booty.
hmmm have you done succulents?!?!? how would you go about doing succulents, i just stumbled on your channel so i feel motivated to try some resin art... yay!!!
You can set them in a silicone mold! Then you’ll always have the mold of the succulent! There’s tutorials on here. Just look
Oh my gosh that is awesome! It would make a beautiful portal window!
This is absolutely beautiful! Have to remember this when I have a bouquet to try this with. Great way to preserve and make something beautiful long lasting.
This is beautiful! Great tutorial! How long did you leave the flowers in the silica gel? I love how this turned out!
Loooove! It's sooo beautiful! I can't wait to try to do a piece like this. I have a question. Have you ever dried out a lily flower?
Thank you soo much! & yes but only in a book a while ago. It didn’t go well haha I think it actually stuck to the page 😬 but if I tried it again, I’d probably dry it in silica gel & see how that works, if any better.
Love your funny artsy work and you do live up to your craft name. I really enjoyed learning from you with flowers. I have never used epoxy and looking to learn. You really made learning fun and funny. Your piece turned out beautiful and have subscribed to learn more. Thanks for your wonderful sense of humor.
That is so beautiful! So ready to give that a try! I’m in love with it, too!!
I love the end result!!! The arrangement looks wonderful and the glitter was a great touch! Thanks for sharing!
I wish I had done this to my wedding bouquet! After 29 years of marriage, I couldn't even tell you where it is! This is probably the most beautiful resin piece I have seen. I even had to call my 22 year old down to see it. Even he was impressed!!!
That's gorgeous and it'sgreat seeing how excited you were unmolding it. I love the smaller one too
So beautiful!!! Love it!
I love your enthusiasm! I almost cried I was so excited for you. Stunning piece!!!
I'm so in love with it..both..but the best is the biggest one..I want to do this..💯💜💐thanks for sharing
this is enchanting!! wow, i was not expecting to be swooning over the result. bravo! thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this ❤ I'm new to all this resin art.. Can't wait to try it.
This floral is spectacular! Never tried resin but have to try making one but (smaller) than yours! Stand it on a brass frame with legs like a table. It will be a real discussion piece.
Absolutely gorgeous, I would never have thought of using a silicone baking dish. Thank you.
I made one with a sunflower for my daughters birthday. Its wonderful
Oh woe two Beautiful things in one single Format.
i haven't even finished the video yet and i had to comment because that dried peony is *beautiful*

You are amazing!!!!! I truly enjoy watching your videos. Crystal clear...wow!!
Oh my, it is just beautiful!!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I greatly appreciate this as I have been doing research for HOURS for my 8x8x2 mold I want to make with my wedding bouquet (drying now using the hanging method) with absolutely no luck. This spells it out perfectly. Thank you so much for the help!!
And the glitter put it over the top!!! Yesssss I love this piece 😌
Stunning! Your joy and smile are infectious! Thank you for brightening up my day. Lots of love to you and to your creations.
The glitter just sets it off.
Absolutely stunning. So fragile but sturdy. Love it 💞💞
