Hi, if we are using the MRC scale, shouldn't we be moving the joint in full range? Asia scale does mention active movement. But this is myotome testing. So I'm confused. Pls help. I have an exam tomorrow.

Recuerden que la examinación debe hacerse con la menor cantidad de ropa posible, en el video están midiendo la sensibilidad por encima de la ropa, es un ejemplo, pero no debe hacerse asi.

Can cauda equina syndrome and conus medullaris syndrome included in ASIA grading?

      Cauda equina syndrome
Would produce slightly different symptoms upon presentation. During a routine SCI, saddle anaesthesia and/or lack of bladder/bowel control wouldn't be stand-alone symptoms. There are many other ways to distinguish between conditions, including x-ray or MRI (which are much better equipped to determine the diagnosis) but in your initial Ax these should give some indication if not associated with other symptoms of SCI
